Just moved to cloud storage.
Thanks for the feedback. I didn't end up using these things myself much because my players and I had too many connectivity issues and went back to other vtts, so I'm glad others get use out of them. :)

Woah, this updated?

Thank you so much. I want you to know your mods have helped my dnd community so much. We’ve made hundreds and hundreds of maps using your modular tile sets as a base and I absolutely couldn’t even imagine having to play online dnd without them. Thank you.

Yep. I thought I'd done that years ago.
Let me know if there's any issues

Any chance the assets in this mod could be uploaded to steam like the ones in your dungeon tiles mod were. The general chaos site appears to be down and I love these assets.

Hi Grimfyre, you can find a few cavern pieces in the Dungeon Modular Tiles set. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=384301928&tscn=1586275067
They're not advertised on the main page for some reason, but they're in there.

Think you could make a cave tileset by any chance? Your tilesets are the best ones to use on here.

The 2x2 pieces pivot around the centre of one of the squares so they'll land directly in the grids in TTS, while using snap-to-grid. That's always been the case. In hindsight, I could have probably left it, and use in game settings to align them to the verticies instead, but maybe that wasn't even an option when I first made this set. It would be a bit much effort to change it, and it would stuff up existing creations using the tiles if they had to re-download the models.

I am having an issue that i dont remember having in the past. All 2x2 tiles in this mode are not rotating from the center of the object. because of this, I am having a hard time lining up tiles if i use a 2x2. I see you havent updated the mod in the last week, so it makes me think it is on my side tho i dont know what i would have done.

Is anyone else having this issue?
Do you you know of any possible solution?

I can't retroactively fix saves using these tokens, but you can. Get ready, there's going to be a few step, but it's pretty easy:
1. Work out the save number(s) in TTS. On the screen where you load saves they'll be numbered, in addition to the description. The number is the filename we'll be looking for in a second, so note them all down.
2. Open your folder browser and go to Documents\My Games\Tabletop Simulator\Saves
3. Right-click on the first affected #.json file, and open with... (# being the save number)
4. Click more apps, then choose Notepad (or better plain text editor, I used Notepad++) - Check the Always Use if you're doing more than one file so you can just double click the.
5. Click Edit > Replace...
6. Find what: "www
7. Replace with: " http://www
8. Click Replace All, then Cancel (don't worry, it doesn't undo it)
9. File> Save (CTRL+S)
10. Close the notepad, try opening the save in TTS
11? If you have more than one save, repeat 4-10

Not sure if it is just my lack of experience with TS, but the walls keep falling over when I can't get something started
Kiromir 10 Feb, 2017 @ 8:56pm
Thank you for the wooden walls and furniture!

Ive sent you a friend request, I have a few modular pieces you might want to consider. As far as thin pieces go, Ive gotten really fast at using the lock button whilst setting them down, so not the best solution, but it works for things like candlesticks and lampposts.
GeneralChaos  [author] 5 May, 2015 @ 2:46pm
I make my own and was inspired by hirstarts. A bit of worldworks too.
Little pieces aren't appropriate for towns in TS (tall thin things fall over), but I'm strongly considering adding individual brick pieces to the dungeon set.
Main thing I'm looking for is ideas. Check out the link to the huge list of things in the details, and see if I'm missing anything.
Secondarily; models and skinning (and rarely texturing). I'm not close to the best, but I can do all the bits, at a limited pace.

Amazing work, if i can do anything to help FR me on steam. I build modular dungeons in rl using hirstsarts, so if i can be of any assistance, dont hesitate to ask.

Really dig the new items in the update. Thanks for adding them!
GeneralChaos  [author] 23 Apr, 2015 @ 6:48am
Minor update including some basic furnishings and props.
GeneralChaos  [author] 6 Feb, 2015 @ 8:47pm
I can do that too, just a matter of re-adding the item without the non-convex box checked.
JustJohnVR 6 Feb, 2015 @ 7:21pm
Not necessary, they work well as is for creating intersections (overlapping them, I've found, allows you to create 3-way or 4-way wall intersections, which may have been your intended purpose, or just a happy coincidence). But, perhaps a version that's stackable, alongside it?
GeneralChaos  [author] 6 Feb, 2015 @ 6:40pm
Right! I made them non-convex too, but they don't have to be. And shouldn't be, by the sounds of it. I'll fix that next time I republish.
JustJohnVR 6 Feb, 2015 @ 6:21pm
This wasn't the thin wall corner pieces (I realized those were intentional), just in regard to the thicker, corner walls. The observation wasn't a request for it to be fixed or anything, it just struck me as odd that they only fell through each other, but seem to have perfect collision with other pieces.
GeneralChaos  [author] 6 Feb, 2015 @ 4:17pm
I had to make the thin interior walls with an invisible wide base collider to stop them from just falling over, and turn on non-convex, which makes them not collide at all with other non-convex. I guessed it wouldn't matter, but I was never planning to double stack my own walls originally.

I could include double-height interior walls in the mod? Not sure what else would work easily.
JustJohnVR 6 Feb, 2015 @ 2:57pm
Random observation. The corner pieces fall through each other. Other pieces can be set on top of them without falling through, same for setting the corner pieces on top of others. But, set one corner piece on top of another, and they fall through and overlap. Ran into this when trying to make a wall double height.
GeneralChaos  [author] 5 Feb, 2015 @ 9:56pm
Got to do with the normal (bump) maps. I get flickering on the walls too, which wasn't an issue with the dungeon walls. I'm hardly an expert, unfortunately. :(
Pvt. Parts 5 Feb, 2015 @ 8:58pm
Have you noticed that when you rotate your floor pieces the color slightly changes? Something to do with the lighting maybe? or is it my settings?
GeneralChaos  [author] 5 Feb, 2015 @ 8:04pm
Yep. Cavernous tiles are part of my list. They're next after town. I'm considering how to do cavernous walls that looks about right in a tiled fashion. The full list of my planned features and status can be found here. [docs.google.com]

My rough plan is: Do a couple more minis, get a start on caverns, then come back to town and fill it out with alternate walls (cobblestone, etc)
Pvt. Parts 5 Feb, 2015 @ 4:15pm
Not sure if you've picked out your next project yet, but a version of your modular wall tiles with a 'cave' texture would be amazing. Right now cave walls are the hardest thing to make for me in TTS. Needs the General's touch.
Pvt. Parts 5 Feb, 2015 @ 4:06pm
Nice! Thanks GeneralChaos!

Updated! Now with fences!

Love this!

Perfect. Just got finished creating a large stone structure, and the next part of our campaign required wooden buildings, so the timing could not be more perfect. Much thanks! And they look excellent.
