So unless AoR added new flame/explosion graphics that would need a replacement, no update is needed.
You can see this for it says 'new workshop' right next to the preview.
But I'm working on it. Upgrading works now, just the preview images and some updates are bugged.
Really annoying for I tried to do the content updates right beside the upgrades so I can adjust their descriptions and take images without the need to come back later and remember which mod still needs what adjustments.
For now I simply extracted the slp files for the fireanimation and overwrote the ones in the Age2HD\resources\_common\slp folder
I just need to upgrade 240 mods in total and check each single one for adjusting it's description.
Beside this the upgrading is still buggy, so I started slowly to not loose anything accidentally. :)
But I hope to upgrade all my mods until the weekend!
As far as I know ToME isn't officially ported to steam yet. There are just guides of how to install it? I just did a little research but didn't find anything different, do you have a link?
Last time I checked at least the Chivalry mod was still alive... but even with the vampire mod beeing abanndoned I wouldn't just port it without any permission of its authors.
For the amount of work - as far as I know the vampire mod is still unfinished (missing graphics and such). Beside this I don't know if it uses user patch or not. Then it definatelly doesn't support FE, all these things I would have to take into account. So there is lot's of work to to when publishing it on steam.
I know a lot of the old mods do work on steam. But what about user patch integration, do mods using user patch fully work with HD for HD doesn't use user patch?
I suppose mods delivering their own exe might work as they only use parts of the games files as sort of a ressource quarry?
For all these great mods I still have classic AoE2 installed.
And maybe they'll port it at some point like with ToME?
