Ok, thanks! Now to make a test animation. :D
TheLastOne98  [author] 3 Aug, 2016 @ 11:09am
yeah, still with slider controls, but this time they should be under 'face'
toonjoey 3 Aug, 2016 @ 11:06am
Thank you SO MUCH! Now how do I move the eyes, the same way or...?
TheLastOne98  [author] 3 Aug, 2016 @ 11:05am
under the unknown area, there should be something called 'hide eyelids'. Click on it, and then use the slider control to the right of the animation set editor.
toonjoey 3 Aug, 2016 @ 10:22am
Off topic but about the models themselves:how do I open the eyes of the model? I'm new to SFM and I need this for posing and stuff, and also how do I move the eyes?

On-topic:Nice work on the animations, but they need a bit of polishing.
SSgaming223 12 Jul, 2015 @ 11:28pm
i wish there was a modern version of this
TheLastOne98  [author] 22 Mar, 2015 @ 7:50pm
Eh, it's what I do. Besides, for some reason I just like explaining things, even multiple times.
Nolan of Fultz 22 Mar, 2015 @ 7:39pm
Thank you so much, you're too kind!
TheLastOne98  [author] 22 Mar, 2015 @ 6:34pm
For the former, you should be able to move his eyes the way you normally do. For the latter, open up the sonic model in the animation set editor. Select the whole model, but then press and hold the ctrl key and left-click on the root transform to deselect it. Then, import the running animation and the model will stay put. By default, the animation just runs in place, so you can add your own motion later.
Nolan of Fultz 22 Mar, 2015 @ 2:43pm
I'm experiencing a few problems, like when I go to the green hill zone map and import the run animation it sends him to a part of the map that's not even really part of a map and I can't move him. I'm sorry, i'm a pretty big noob
Nolan of Fultz 22 Mar, 2015 @ 2:24pm
Hey is there a way I can have the running animation going but still be able to move things like eyes and the head? Cuz I'd like to have him blink and stuff.
TheLastOne98  [author] 21 Mar, 2015 @ 7:56am
No problem, happy to help.
Nolan of Fultz 20 Mar, 2015 @ 9:51pm
Thanks so much!
TheLastOne98  [author] 16 Mar, 2015 @ 10:33am
Okay, here's the video!
TheLastOne98  [author] 16 Mar, 2015 @ 9:31am
Okay, hold on, I'll make a video real quick to show you how to find them.
Nolan of Fultz 15 Mar, 2015 @ 2:36pm
Sorry to bother you but I did the steps you said below and I don't see a "workshop folder"
Kris 14 Feb, 2015 @ 8:55am
So you can see it in the model viewer.
Kris 14 Feb, 2015 @ 8:54am
You probably have to update it to where you can see the animations in the Model Viewer, like, change the locations to the [ROOT]/Models file?
TheLastOne98  [author] 14 Feb, 2015 @ 8:52am
Yeah, something like that. Give me a break, I have a hard time putting what I mean into words.
Kris 14 Feb, 2015 @ 8:50am
Yeah, but in the models preinstalled with SFM, the Sequences are animations used from the ACTUAL GAME. Get it right. Or else I would have to get a Machete.
TheLastOne98  [author] 14 Feb, 2015 @ 8:48am
No. Sequences are motions that are built-in to the model, and aren't in separate files. Animations are motions that you make for a model, and then save as a DMX file for later use. To view animations, you hae to import them to the model, and then you can watch them normally in the primary/secondary viewport(s).
Kris 14 Feb, 2015 @ 8:05am
@sonicteam998 I know. Aren't sequences animations?
TheLastOne98  [author] 14 Feb, 2015 @ 5:13am
You can only view sequences on the model viewer. Not animations.
Kris 13 Feb, 2015 @ 11:03am
How do you use them on Model Viewer? You didn't mention anything about the Model Viewer.
Turret 3471 9 Feb, 2015 @ 4:31pm
Ok, thanks!
TheLastOne98  [author] 5 Feb, 2015 @ 7:33am
Right-click the model, select import, then animation. Go to the workshop folder, then elements, sessions, Sonic OVA, and finally animations. Then just select the animation you want to import, and click open.
Turret 3471 4 Feb, 2015 @ 5:16pm
How do you put the animations into the model? Sorry, I'm kinda new to SFM.
