@RedWolf: Borders on coasts are the same as province borders (border1.dds). You could increase transparency to a level where the borders are still visible on land but almost invisible on the coast. Maybe that works.

Is there any way to remove borders on coasts ? I would like to have big country borders as they are in the mod, medium area borders, small (or not at all) province borders and no coast border, to have the province fade in the sea.

You're right. Will fix it asap. I guess it has something to do with the water for the random new world, so if you wanna play ironman, swich to RBM - NWNF until the issue is fixed

Sorry, only when this mod is active it says the game is altered in some way. I think they might have changed what is elegible for ironman and what is not...

OBS. I have tried different combinations but only when this mod is active it results in altering.

Thanks. If you want it as transparent as possible, I suggest you you use this mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=496759761 It has dynamic transparancy.

BCMB1.1 is not up to date anymore.

Actualy the version must be 1.10.1.0 or it will crash the luancher will crash when you just open the launcher.

Open bettercolormapmodebright.mod with notepad. Change supported_version="1.x" to supported_version="1" . Add the line if it's not there.

I listed all the files you need to delete from other mods in the description. Look for the ones that manage map lighting (gfx\FX\constants.fxh and gfx\FX\standardfuncsgfx.fxh)

Ive been using your mod for a few weeks now and just recently i launched a game with this mod and instead of better borders i had no borders i disabled all other mods still didnt help

I have it on and everything. I just copied in the line you wrote, but there were no "version" line like you said. So nothing seemed to change even though its technically on?
