You have them on this map very frequently, and it wouldnt be that much effort on your part to take them out, and just make the edges flat. It is a very rare situation that I would use a sharp corner, and even then I would probably rework where ever there was no other option to not have to use it. Those things look sharper than the actual spikes.
Just work on how big you make some blocks, like here [gyazo.com] for example, the floating blocks could be thinner. When blocks are separated like that they can look very strange when they are fat.
This map is really good gameplay wise, but we can't forget about how it looks too! :D
