Changed my name from Foxrai to Calico Griffiin (related to my polymer clay creations account - if You like hand-made items You can check 'em as well :) The name in modinfo's will be changed as well later.
As I promised there will be black fox character before Christmas. Already working on it. But there will be another bonus character mod incoming as well! I've got some time now, so they shouldn't take long ;)
The orb staff is not part of this mod.

Also the same with Wakkari's staff. In DST Bell Staff has it's full power only in Wakkari's hands. For all others is just useless, weak weapon. I'm also hearing from many other, younger players and other less experienced ones that making Wakkari and Wayrra eating meat only (no fruits, ice, veggies blablabla) makes it harder to play for them. Saw that several times on random servers. So... I was trying to think of it to be NICE to play for everyone. Experienced and new players.
The Orb Staff is a sacred item of Wayrra's tribe and only gains its mythical properties (the light) while in the hands of Wayrra. Anyone who picks up the staff other than Wayrra shouldn't get an infinite light source, if they are then it is bugged and I will need to fix it.
I was NOT trying to attack your skills or these mods. Just mentioned what I PERSONALLY consider badly balanced.
Wayrras staff is however an infinite light source, which in itself is quite strong, BECAUSE, and only because she starts with it for free. There was a reason for why willows lighter recieved durability.
I also think that because Wakkari has such an high speed he also should not start with the weapon (which if, correct me if I am wrong, is basicaly a tentacle spike in terms of damage). Because it makes the beginning of the game so much easier. And I do believe that mixing high damage and speed from the get go ruins the balance of the beginning of the game.

2. Both staves are balanced for the use in DST + they are useful only for Foxes. The characters ARE balanced according to their atributes and statistics in general.
3. Not changing anything. Ice staff with 5 uses is insane, because you can easily obtain normal ice staff with the blue gems. It is the way I wanted it to be and it will stay that way. They are not more OP than regular Dont Starve characters.
4. Appreciate you liked the graphics.
I'm not sure what you mean by unbalanced. The staff on each of the foxes requires the base component of a spear/ice staff respectively in order to craft them. How is that OP?
But staffs that three shots pigs from the start while also lasts quite long and is insanely cheap to make is not balanced ;). And ice staffs that has tons of uses from the get go, which also can be used as an infinite torch is also not balanced :D
The ice staff should have at most 5 uses while being bey expensive to make. That way it justifies it being an endless torch.
Please keep the bug reports coming in if you find any. A screencapture of the error will help resolve the issues in the fastest manner as possible.
