No Respawn Ships (New Method)

You would try to disable custom respawn ships if they are automatically included with a mod you want such as MES (Modular Encounter Systems) but you do not want the respawn pods.

So having something which simply just does not allow respawn pods would be really frakin nice. Lots of servers do it so there has to be a way.

Can you update it please? Because it doesn't remove Mars and Alien Planet landers.

It removes the vanilla ships only. If you have a mod that adds additional respawn ships they are not affected, so it is safe to use with them.

It is mean the Respawn Ships of other mods ore the ships from the respawn ship file?

dude this is incredible this is the fix i needed all along to complete my mod. i only wish i could directly add this mod into the mod file so i could edit it and combine this with my mod

What about spawning a new test world with no mods? Maybe its setting a flag in the save file?

Just a simple respawn ship with a large container for items to build a starter base. What's weird is it worked 2 days ago. And now no respawn ship mod whether my own build or off the wokshop works. Great mod btw :) I did have an issue where even after I removed the mod it was still only showing what I set while it was there.

What kind of ship? All this does is add<Ship Enabled="false"> to each respawn ship in the Vanilla list. If it was a respawn ship that existed before this mod was enabled maybe it is disabling anything derived from the prefab?

Any ideas why when loading into a ship it doesn't actually load? Like I can't turn, go into 3rd person, exit the ship or do anything.

@astralmench The only thing I can think is that something in your existing save needs respawn ships to be there. Maybe another respawn ship mod? The method I used here came from the Devs.

You can open the mod and look for your self. Rename the sbc to zip and extract it.

What I'm wondering, is how you get ships to actually spawn edited. I tried to edit all prefabs in the game last month and was pissed off when not a single one overwrote the original like it was supposed to. :/
