why is it people never try the mod or even read info before posting questions?
Samson1 14 Dec, 2022 @ 9:10am
@Ninjawizard Not to be rude, but why would someone go to the effort of doing what you ask if you don't even have the level of bother to find out for yourself?

i have zero notion of the size of your block from that pic.. i need a very small light like that for my navigation lights
ninjawizard 10 Jun, 2022 @ 1:57pm

LordChicken, I Need the Red bassard collector for a bunch of TOS ships I am creating, would it be possible to make this light be a 2X2 and a 5X5 for the front of thw warp necells?

Hey OP, I think this mod is crashing my world. I removed this mod and it would actually load again. If you're still updating I might've found a solution

Arindel who made the Corner Lights mod stated:
"For other people that made light blocks, the crash was caused by the lack of glare texture from TransparentMaterials.sbc. Make sure your blocks have a glare texture."

@lolguyman3: Just draw a nipple on it.

I just wanna know if you got a space titty too.
LordChicken  [author] 22 Feb, 2015 @ 11:32am
@rottielover You can weld in survival. You want to aim at the base of the light.
rottielover 22 Feb, 2015 @ 7:47am
I put this on my DS (survival), and you can place the block, but I can't weld it. I noticed since the last patch sometimes the stock interior lights are hard to weld as well, but you can usually move back and forth enough to get them. This one I can't get to weld at all (hand welder). I haven't tried a large or small ship welder yet, that's my next step.

Thanks for this mod.

I really think there need to be more light types in SE. Thank you for adding one. I had an idea for a small rotating or blinking light that would come on in emergencies but i dont think it would be easy to make. I'll make do with the current interier lights for now. Thanks for this mod though. :)

i have to commend you on the detail put in to this! the information in the stats alone stands out!
Since most of my ships are either too small to need them or are stations, it's not much use, but I still want to use them just because of the work that's gone into it!
Bobmin357 16 Feb, 2015 @ 9:59pm
Thank you for these. I had been searching for nav lights for a while and all of the small ship lights were just too big or not colorable. Yes they serve no real purpose other than lending a bit of realism, which is exactly why I wanted them. Subscribed!
Stardriver907 16 Feb, 2015 @ 1:17pm
Well, then. Low polygon is always a good thing.

Subscribed!
LordChicken  [author] 16 Feb, 2015 @ 1:10pm
Thanks for the comments!

I made this because I wanted a low polygon light for using as Navigation Lights on my ships.
Stardriver907 16 Feb, 2015 @ 9:44am
All ships and aircraft are required to show a red light on the left (port) side, a green light on the right (starboard) side and a white light from the rear (stern). This way others can tell how the other ship is oriented relative to theirs. This worked well for ships for centuries and was adopted by aircraft once they moved into commercial service.

There are no such rules in space at the moment, but there's no doubt that by 2077 the practice would continue, rules or not.

I imagine you can color these light any way you want, but it would be nice if everyone attempted to adhere to the standard. There's no way anyone could be forced, but in time there will be public worlds that might get somewhat congested in places and it would be nice if everyone knew what the standard is since it could avert disasters.
JWA 14 Feb, 2015 @ 10:54pm
@Hawkeye they are like the red and green lights you might see on the wings of planes. They help with visability.
Nioreux 14 Feb, 2015 @ 6:26pm
whats the point?
