Every time i try hovering over the icons for the unique Building added by 3UC or 4UC give the error "failed to iterate table due to query error. Check Database.log for more details." Any idea what causes this?

Does this mod use DLL (I'm very much a novice with this)? Because if so, it will not be compatible with another mod (Artificial Unintelligent) . Sorry is this is very apparent elsewhere, but if that's the case you can simply tell me where to go and I will look myself. Thanks in advance!

First of all, thank you for the great mod!

Seems to work fine for me except that when I try to use this mod together with Advanced Setup mod, I can't choose the Civs for AI... but I guess that is just a minor a setback. The AI seems to use the bonuses pretty fine too.

Can you PLEASE fix it so they show up in leader selection without EUI mod? Not everyone has it, and especially for me it makes things too cluttered.

Hey, I have a problem. I am using 3UC & 4UC with the Confederate States, but they aren't showing up in the menu. (I do have EUI)

hello, trying to figure out how to get this to work for "tokugawa's Japan" its a modded civ and I enjoy the shinobi gameplay but hanzo could really use a mid to late game UU and im new to modding so..headaches.

NQMod v11 just added a UB Barrcks replacement for Japan that's also a Dojo. I'm looking at two conflicting Dojo buildings, is it possible to disable just Japan's 3UC?

Also, couldn't the iroquios have a unique composet bowman instead of the rusher because I wanted to use all the uniques at the same time.

Can you please make it so that JFD's FDR has 4 unique compinents. I've already come up with two. The p51 mustang and th M4 Sherman.

This is a common problem for all mods. Please consult guides for manual installation.

for some reason, i subscribed to both the unique abilites mod, and i cant find either of them in my mods list. I unsubscribed and subscribed again but that didnt work. Can someone help???

MikeBurnFire - would it at all be possible to make a 3/4UC for the Colonialist Legacies' Benito Juarez's Mexico just as you've done for Australia and Canada? Or for Leugi's Gran Colombia?

I realize it's a bit specific, but (using some workaround mod) I use your 3/4UC mod in multiplayer with friends and it's hard to choose between the wonderful work you've done on pre-existing civs or the prospect of additional civs. Would this be at all possible at any point?

having the denmark longboat replace the trireme doesn't make sense historically as vikings were during the midieval times the trireme is ancient era and also as far as game play goes its not a vary useful ship. Should've replaced a galleass and been made stronger and faster then that.

I have tried EUI, but it does not let me choose production at all, clicking the "purchease units/buildings" or "choose production" buttons does nothing, as well as the "choose production" button when I try to end my turn.

Oh so that's why! My friend also had this glitch when we were playing but we didn't know why. It was the first time we had problems with a Multiplayer Modpack and the first time we used EUI with 3uc/4uc too.

Hey man, do you know anything of Enhanced User Interface not working for 3rd and 4th, on multiplayer modpacks? I've tried creating a modpack with your mods (3rd and 4th), but when I place the EUI in the DLC folder as well, the game glitches out in the city screen. Any ideas?

If you make a change to the default units, most of the 3UC units will change, too. They copy the combat strength of the default units.

However, for units that are "stronger than the unit it replaces", you will have to open the SQL file in the SDK and change the number manually.

No i do not intend to upload a mod that changes 3UC.But i would like to know how modify the cost and strength of new unique units(because i find vanilla unit class balance terrible)
It was purely for personal use.

Read the description. The components won't show in the leader select screen if you don't have the EUI.

The 3rd and 4th UC mods dont seem to work in my case. I select both, hit next, singleplayer, setup game and then they dont show up. How can i solve this?

If you're making a mod that changes 3UC and 4UC units, make sure both mods are referenced by your new mod.

How do I edit the Combat strength and cost/faith cost of the new units?
I have made some changes to vaniila in the xml file of the base game,but I cannot find out how to do it in this mod.

I wasn't aware that the Cover I promotion wasn't available to mounted units. I have undone this change. Thanks for letting me know.

I removed the Rapid Lancer because it didn't look good, honestly. It's in the Extra Components mod though, so you can switch them out if you want.

Some thoughts on the Mongols 3rd and 4th uniques. Why make the ger provide ranged and melee based promotions to arguably the most successful cavalry army in history? THey hardly even used melee non-mounted forces in thier armies. It applies to Keshiks because they are ranged but not to any of the other horse units. Also why cover and not something like open terrain bonus? FInaly why did you guys choose to take out the rabid lancer? It fit really well and was historically accurate (if not the name).

DivineBlessing.xml is the file that gives the Palace Enhancements to non-Firaxis civilizations. The method that I use to do this involves making a new building and giving all the Firaxis civs a blank "unique".

Thanks for discovering the issue. For now, I'll just make a note that the Palace Enhancements conflict with the Really Advanced Setup. At least, until I can figure out another solution.

*second half, cause of posting limits*

I did some playing around and the end result was that I could consistently fix, break, and fix the issue by taking one action: moving the DivineBlessing folder from the (3UC) - 3rd Unique Component (v 3) folder to my desktop. Without the DivineBlessing folder, everything loaded perfectly. With the DivineBlessing folder, broken every time.

To make sure the DivineBlessing folder was the only variable, I removed my 3rd and 4th Component mods and dl'd clean installs. My Really Advanced Setup is v15 which should be the newest one.

So... Is DivineBlessing.xml new in the latest update for the 3rd Component mod? Could there be a conflict between the code in the DivineBlessing.xml and how RAS is trying to display information?

I am having a problem after downloading the recent updates to both the 3rd and 4th Unique Components today. This seems awkward without a screenshot, so hopefully I can describe this well enough to describe the problem and how I solved it.

I also use Really Advanced Setup, which normally shows the icons for the 3rd and 4th components in the players panel (upper left tab, reads as "8 Players" or "22 Players" or however many players you have).

The icons for my chosen civ were showing either 3 or 4 components and other civs would show 2 or 3 (always one less than mine). Prior to the updates, this panel would always show icons for all four components for all civs.

Also, I was usually only to display anything for one civ other than my own. After the one, I could pick a civ name from the dropdown box but the icon would not change and no component icons would appear.

Is there any chance you could add compatibility to Enlightenment Era mod? I really like both mods, except yours adds a few too many UCs per era, while Enlightenment Era causes too few UCs per era. A 3UC + Enlightenment Era compatibility would be amazing!
