alright fuckernauts, I think this game is outdated by I have found a solution somewhat! essentially, after reloading into a game with this mod ACTIVE it will bring up an error window when entering panels or at start. to fix, simply deactivate, reload game, activate, reload game, play. this is my solution

Suggestion: Add a Silicon Valley Bank style possible situation, where if certain things (you decide) happen the bank fails and you loose everything in it, except a little bit--- unless you are a BIG development house (so last office), then you don't loose anything.

Hey, when I installed this mod, I got an "Error Alert" it says:
TypeError: Object # has no methid 'getDataStore'
Looking through the comments, I see someone else has had a similar problem. It's not huge deal, since the mod seems to work otherwise (although granted, I haven't fully put it through its paces yet), it is just an annoyance. I am just saying something since you said to report bugs and I didn't know where else to do that.

My idea for to mod is add a option to sell a game, you can choice the price (or not) (sorry for the bad english, I don't speak english pretty good, I hope you understand

@jomismo I never had that problem until last night when I reinstall everything. I notice that if you try to use this mod without having played at least once without mods it will not work. It need at least one clean save.

My guess is that "TypeError: Object # has no method 'getDataStore'" means that GDT uses MySQL, SQLite, or some similar DB and it need a save to extract the money value, so if you don't have a clean save it will not found the right value, or position, or something like that.

So, to fix it, just disable all mods, start a new game, make a game, earn some money, save game, enable all mods, exit GDT, start your new game with the mods you want enabled... It worked for me!

Just a quick note, your "bugs" of the input field selection not always working, that's a problem i have always(still do) experience with the stock game, such as when i go to type in the game name after selecting the genre, console, topic. i can click right through sometimes XD. so that's not technically your fault :)

I managed to take out a loan of 1SX (or something like that) within the first month.

@Rick Colemen - The credit ratings should prevent you from loaning an insane amount. Are you sure the amount you loaned was incoherent to the amount you're allowed to loan according to your credit rating?

I found what I think is a bug (and I suspect easy to fix)

There are no caps on the amount you take out in loans. Meaning you can take 1SX credits and then place it all in a bank account and just sit there.

Could you put it up on a website or send a zip file over skype? I have a bug and cannot play my game through steam, so I can't do anything to get this otherwise.

Crash in what way? Are you sure it's my mod causing it? I haven't had any other complaints about people's game crashing, nor do I see any way how it could cause it.

Unfortunately, no. Those mods adjust core game mechanics and/or settings, and this mod is not part of the core infrastructure of the game. I will realising a new update, fixing this problem however. Sit tight.

Odd, the algorithm I made should make it that in the long term the price of oil would be higher than the starting point. There is no manual way to adjust it, unless you alter the source code of the mod, making line 934 into

Nvm I fixed it, I deleted all of my saves and uninstall all the mods and reinstall and start fresh no error was found.
