I would be happy to make them DX-11 for you. :D
Add me :D

Can you make a set of these with a 3/4 block size flat plate on the tip? That would make a very stable elevator. As is, they work decently in such an application.
Thanks
Don't know if (de)pressurising hangars make sense. May take a while... did anyone try already ?
with love: Shogun.
Thinking about it more, I bet the bounding box is indeed the problem, since the doors in this mod are designed just like yours, but work:

I suspect the problem is with the bounding box. The game only recognizes the doorframe block of the door as a filled block. You can place other blocks freely within the actual door space, so oxygen just flows through that space ignoring the door because the door isn't actually "there" to the game.
Maybe if the bounding boxes were as big as the entire closed door, and they were otherwise set up like a vanilla door, it would work.
I went ahead and built my new landing bays with these doors, so I have faith in you! ^_^ Hope you get them working very soon!
Hope you can figure it out, because these make great hangar doors!
If it does that will be sweet :D
@Jens, Try adding this line of code to your doors and this should make them airtight:
<IsAirTight>true</IsAirTight>
