Rusted Droid 26 Jun, 2019 @ 7:02pm

JWA 20 Jan, 2019 @ 12:30pm

Snugglez 5 Apr, 2017 @ 5:33am

Azirahael 2 Feb, 2017 @ 10:07pm
Armour gates are very similar, and work just fine
Rothank 12 Mar, 2016 @ 8:24am
These won't get updated/fixed at all, i guess... That's a shame, one of the most usefull mods I've seen so far...
void catgirl rglx 15 Jan, 2016 @ 10:50am
Broken. Doors don't allow players or ships to pass through them when open.
Muff 5 Dec, 2015 @ 2:01pm

MoDD DeeP 20 Sep, 2015 @ 6:38pm
@Garrus : Didn't know that Garrus, thanks for the info.
Jens  [author] 20 Sep, 2015 @ 4:40pm
Hey everyone, I'm still very busy now a days and haven't had time to fix these mods. I will probably still update them to dx11, but I don't think I'll have time to make them airtight. Alternativly i could upload the working files so that some one could fix it if they wanted.:steamhappy:
KillerKGB 1 Aug, 2015 @ 11:42pm
if you can move them please for DX 11 would be cool there I them with pleasure uses
737✈Garrus 6 Jul, 2015 @ 1:41pm
@MoDD DeeP: ALL doors except hangar doors lets ships through them even if they're in closed position, blame KSWH.
MoDD DeeP 4 Jul, 2015 @ 3:53am
There's like no collision detection on these, I flew a ship right through em. Their very cool doors, just no use in a pvp enviroment.
Kermondale 11 Jun, 2015 @ 6:30pm
Dx11?
Cudg 24 May, 2015 @ 2:24am
I really like these doors however being airtight would be a nice additional feature. Wouldn't have to stack forcefields on the other side to hold in oxygen
Solo 6 May, 2015 @ 3:35pm
These are perfect the way they are!! Place Shaocorps force fields in place where the "door" closes, and you have the perfect hangar bay doors!!

JayMole77 1 May, 2015 @ 11:48pm
Any luck with making these airtight yet ?????
JayMole77 21 Apr, 2015 @ 7:37pm
No worries, Keep up the good work, Your doors are amazing, but we can only use them in unpressurized area, but since all my hangar bays are unpressurized to equal outside environment it doesn't effect me.
Jens  [author] 21 Apr, 2015 @ 11:47am
@JayCo2013 I probably will, i'm just very busy now a days.
JayMole77 20 Apr, 2015 @ 10:48pm
Jens ya need to fix it so its oxygen retaining, please.
Soulkeeper 14 Apr, 2015 @ 5:50am
i tsets on 14-4-2015 and its not working
onle holds jatpack back
Soulkeeper 14 Apr, 2015 @ 5:49am
yea i am stil waiting that the door holts smal blocks big blocks and oxy or bullets
Kam Solastor 7 Apr, 2015 @ 1:07pm
Could you perhaps make these airtight? Would be great for hangers.
DarrikVkir 4 Apr, 2015 @ 3:07pm
Looks like the latest patch added the ability to mod the opening in the airtight doors object type.
Minion of Speed 29 Mar, 2015 @ 10:53am
Great Doors.

Can you make a set of these with a 3/4 block size flat plate on the tip? That would make a very stable elevator. As is, they work decently in such an application.

Thanks
Nuß 29 Mar, 2015 @ 1:55am
Make it airtight pls
Lynnuxx 27 Mar, 2015 @ 1:51pm
I tried the new airtight doors and these ones yesterday. I prefer the simpler look of these ones on my ship. So keep them, please, and make them airtight if you want.
Don't know if (de)pressurising hangars make sense. May take a while... did anyone try already ?
Whaddageek 27 Mar, 2015 @ 1:21am
At the very least, you could probably just fudge a working door with one very long paired door piece for the odd-number lengths.
gyedion 26 Mar, 2015 @ 7:43pm
love the sizes of the doors. i used the bigest doors you made to make a large ship hangar they look awesome but i cant get them to work for me might just be a bug like the specialized refineries needing to be saved and reloaded but there awesome. love that the colors blend in with my plates better then the stock doors
Fistagon 26 Mar, 2015 @ 5:38pm
new update out-dated this, you should make the new doors they came out with far larger now.
with love: Shogun.
megapro 26 Mar, 2015 @ 1:51pm
Just keep your model. I let the doors glitch into each other from four sides because it looks cooler and holds back more gunfire :D
Jens  [author] 26 Mar, 2015 @ 11:09am
The new patch introduced a new type of objectBuilder for airtight hangarDoors, which could prolly be used for this. I'll look in to it in the week end. Maybe i should redo this mod to just be different sizes of the new door...
megapro 26 Mar, 2015 @ 9:56am
With todays update you should be able to make them airtight :) And it seems one of the smaller sizes is now obsolete.
Mornedhel 26 Mar, 2015 @ 9:28am
Congrats! It seems that your mod inspired the devs for the Airtight Hangar Door of todays update
Jens  [author] 24 Mar, 2015 @ 5:21pm
@Rhedd I will update them, i'm alittle busy with studying atm.
Rhedd 23 Mar, 2015 @ 6:35pm
REALLY hope you're working on getting these airtight, because I really miss using them.

Thinking about it more, I bet the bounding box is indeed the problem, since the doors in this mod are designed just like yours, but work:

Rhedd 22 Mar, 2015 @ 12:35am
I've been thinking about the airtight issue and looking at the doors in-game.

I suspect the problem is with the bounding box. The game only recognizes the doorframe block of the door as a filled block. You can place other blocks freely within the actual door space, so oxygen just flows through that space ignoring the door because the door isn't actually "there" to the game.

Maybe if the bounding boxes were as big as the entire closed door, and they were otherwise set up like a vanilla door, it would work.

I went ahead and built my new landing bays with these doors, so I have faith in you! ^_^ Hope you get them working very soon!
The Alien Hunter 21 Mar, 2015 @ 2:32pm
so at this moment, they arent airtight? i hope they will soon :) i need an under-belly Cargo door.
Rhedd 21 Mar, 2015 @ 9:07am
I believe if you use the "airtight" method, it will ALWAYS be airtight, which isn't what you want, either. Good for some things like hangars, but definitely not realistic. :P

Hope you can figure it out, because these make great hangar doors!
Whaddageek 21 Mar, 2015 @ 12:55am
Something I noticed when they're being placed is the doors are twice the distance they should be from the edge (I don't know if that's by accident or an unavoidable bug). Maybe that's somehow making it register as a gap?
SEModder4  [developer] 20 Mar, 2015 @ 5:31pm
Seems Keen's doors are airtight and they don't seem to have the airtight code so it could be a Type ID thing, assuming your doors use the Door for the Type ID, but adding the code it may or may not make it work.

If it does that will be sweet :D
Jens  [author] 20 Mar, 2015 @ 5:19pm
Hey, i will try to make them airtight. If @SEModder4 solution doesnt work as they are now, i guess i could pair up doors.
SEModder4  [developer] 20 Mar, 2015 @ 2:57pm
You can make any block "airtight" I think.

@Jens, Try adding this line of code to your doors and this should make them airtight:

<IsAirTight>true</IsAirTight>
joemorin73 20 Mar, 2015 @ 1:03pm
I don't think Jens can make these air tight. He'd have to have a contact point on 4 sides. Impossible to do with a modular door.
Firebrand 20 Mar, 2015 @ 11:53am
I love these doors, I use them regularly... I'm guessing your next update will be making them air tight, if that's possible with their modular arrangement. Good luck with that xD
Daemn 20 Mar, 2015 @ 10:27am
Any chanse making thes doors air tight?
