One thing they could (Keen) add to the game when reading the Cargo Ship data file, is the tag <isDerelict></isDerelict>.

This function would allow the ship author to define whether the ships power is on or off, any rotational data, that would help provide the ambiance you want. :)

The mod didn't turn out the way i wanted....I was hoping for the vessels to be found with minimal power, lots of battle damage, trapped and rotating slowly on an axis to give it that eerie feeling upon discover of the vessel. Now with the current update all exploration ships appear powered down and the beacon's name left blank. I've sent suggestions and hope there will be an option to have ships appear powered vs no power.

This mod is designed to add more varity to ships you may find floating about in exploration mode. You will not see a beacon as these vessels are powered down.

As far as I know yes it does work, however I have not tested this myself. Let me know if it does!

This mod adds new exploration ships into Exploration Mode, it has been tested and works beautifully :D Only error I discovered will need a redesign.
