TAWWorld 28 Feb, 2015 @ 4:50am
@Illuminat: Even google has it wrong. Ever heard of "Coin of Minerva." I'm ashamed that you call yourself a perfectballist and you don't kno your own symbol.
AntiMeanies  [author] 27 Feb, 2015 @ 6:43pm
T.A.W. Byzantine?: Ah, I feel a little silly. Though to be fair someone earlier asked if it would work with BNW, and I don't think they were joking, so it is a little hard to tell, lol.
link and builder 27 Feb, 2015 @ 4:22pm
That was a joke, since the "Utopia Project for BNW" obviously requires BNW.
AntiMeanies  [author] 27 Feb, 2015 @ 4:21pm
T.A.W. Byzantine: Yes, it requires BNW.

The pyramid has 13 steps. Civilization V has 13 letters. 13 first states. utopia has 6 letters. V is a 5. BNW has 3 letters
13+13+13+6+5+3=53 Obama is 53 years old Iluminati confirmed

Utopia has 6 letters. What are numbers good for? Dividing by 2 because 2 is a fucked up number. 6 divided by 2 is 3. There are 3 sides on the illuminati. Illuminati confirmed.
harry pote 23 Feb, 2015 @ 1:54pm
Civilization V has 13 letters. There were 13 original colonies. Thirteen has 8 letters. Eight has 5 letters. Three also has 5 letters. Civilization V is illuminati confirmed

Before reading this, make sure you have some bomb shelters because Gandhi is about to nuke some sh*t.

Civilization V.
There are 420 letters in Civilization V.
420 - 420 = 0.
0 is the shape of an oval.
Eyes are also ovals.
There is an eye on the Illuminati.

Civilization V is Illuminati confirmed.

For anyone who is saying "420 blaze it loominarty confirmed" is just stupid. This is a game, not a fking secret cult.
AntiMeanies  [author] 22 Feb, 2015 @ 10:17am
Tyrantis123: Er, what are you talking about?
Web: You think so? Pre BNW completing 5 policy branches allowed you to build the Utopia Project for the same price as this one, and that won you the game. Here it will only, at that point, give +50% tourism in just one city.
MightyOwl 22 Feb, 2015 @ 9:33am
OP

Tyrantiszar 22 Feb, 2015 @ 9:24am
Talk about an over the top representation of a typical fudalism system where the guy on top is the weakest of them all. I hate to the one who loses the game because of this project. We going back to the good old middle ages or am I just talking smack of of the vulnerable and weak minded.
TAWWorld 22 Feb, 2015 @ 6:19am
@208; you mean freemasons. @Illuminati: Why no coin of Minerva? @All who say Illuminat confirmed: You mean freemasons.

does this mod work if you have G&K and BNW?
AntiMeanies  [author] 21 Feb, 2015 @ 8:14am
OK, americanman_4_life (and anyone else interested), the international project version is up.
AntiMeanies  [author] 21 Feb, 2015 @ 7:17am
Oh I see, in the code they are the same. But for a player playing, they have different names, different pictures, and different (if only as you say by a small ammount) effects. I mean I get you, whilst I like the mod adding it back, there isn't actually much point when you get down to it in adding it back, but, well, different strokes for different folks, as they say. I didn't mean to be starting any sort of arguement or anything.
lshipp 21 Feb, 2015 @ 6:58am
not that I want to start a super-debate on your mod, but an examination of the XML will show that National Treasury and East India Company are in fact the same national wonder. Both use the XML designations BUILDING_NATIONAL_TREASURY and BUILDINGCLASS_NATIONAL_TREASURY.

The changes made, other than renaming of what is displayed in-game, are very little different from the changes made to the market between the Vanilla/G-n-K version of the market and the BNW version of the market.

But the main point was there wouldn't be a whole lot of point to "resurrecting" the National Treasury and Theatre, though of course that's entirely up to you. You'd just have to be careful to not be stepping all over the code as Firaxis rather lazily re-purposed it.
AntiMeanies  [author] 21 Feb, 2015 @ 6:45am
lshipp: Well, I meant the names and more importantly, the pictures, I mean, the pictures are still there in code, just sitting there and not doing anything. I don't know, for some strange reason that just nags me. Also, as for National Treasury/East India Company, yes one replaced the other, but I thought they have different effects, it says so here at least: http://civilization.wikia.com/wiki/Wonders_(Civ5) , OK, both to do with Gold, but not exactly the same.
lshipp 21 Feb, 2015 @ 6:33am
Theatre and National Treasury are actully used already in BNW. Firaxis repurposed the code for theatre and renamed it "zoo" in-game. They merely renamed National Treasury to East India Company for what shows in-game (similar to what they did with theatre/zoo) but didn't otherwise substantially re-work the XML code as they did for the theatre/zoo.

There's actually been a Motherland Statue mod available on Steam for well over a year. The author of the General Winter mod (I think that's the new one) simply was unaware of it. This happens quite often. As an example I think there are now 3 different versions of a "you can capture great people with this mod" mods available, and there are so many "windfarm" mods that I've lost count.

Right... I'm not that experience in game yet! I Barely just finished the World Fair in my current game i'm playing, SP.

I'm finishing up 3 Factories soon, about to choose my Ideology after my only ally in the game, Dido, who chose Autocracy! I havn't hit Modern yet, but will shortly after Ideology chosen, only cause I rushed to Radio for Eiffel(actually having GE standing buy to build, I want sooo bad!)! Still in Indutrial for most my Techs!
So... I have yet to even come close to the end gameplay, and have not experienced what BNW has to offer in the end game, yet! this my 2nd game playing, first failed, I played on a solo hotseat game, and lost interest! too complicated being two diff Civ!

Anyway... not gone that far, I wouldn't know what really say about any of the bonuses!
AntiMeanies  [author] 20 Feb, 2015 @ 2:17pm
Hmm, I'll have to think about how much Culture the lower levels get. Too much, and it will cancel out the Tourism benefit from the wonder.
americanman_4_life 20 Feb, 2015 @ 9:52am
I sent you friend request, if you don't mind... I think like minded modders could stick together, maybe get more done! I developed a group with such concept in mind! Take my request for friendship... I'll invite you in group as soon as I see it!
AntiMeanies  [author] 20 Feb, 2015 @ 9:45am
Oh yeah, I've been looking at the code, I'll give it some thought, thanks.
americanman_4_life 20 Feb, 2015 @ 9:19am
Really, take a look at the original XML code for the World Fair, if its findable! Maybe reflect some on that, but the bonuses are Culture and Tourism.
americanman_4_life 20 Feb, 2015 @ 9:17am
IDK! It was an idea, what do you think is better??
TBH, I wasn't even sure. For L2 I think I was referring to the World Fair itself, which is a +100% bonus for 20 turns. I don't know where I came up with the L3, I think I did that on my own. For either, this would be the Utopia Project. This would be an end game attempt, to try crushing the others with culture/tourism effects.
So however you think best to apply those, use your judgment. Other things to consider, if you haven’t, is what the levels require. I just recently finished World Fair in my game I'm playing, even took a screanshot. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=394151231

They put forth so little, so I crushed em. Should consider a minimum hammers to reach in order to qualify for either L2-3. In the world fair, (I Think) any team that met either lower level, can receive those benefits, so potentially being multiple Civs could get L2-3. Only ONE can achieve L1 though! You can maybe reflect that too!
AntiMeanies  [author] 20 Feb, 2015 @ 8:03am
americanman_4_life: Ah, I better ask, for the lower rewards, did you mean perament increases or temporary ones?
AntiMeanies  [author] 20 Feb, 2015 @ 5:45am
americanman_4_life: Cool ideas. I will have a go at that.
americanman_4_life 20 Feb, 2015 @ 1:11am
Keeping most your idea... I would like to suggest... sense the idea behind the Utopian Project was similar to making a Global Utopia, a one world unity, which is what many Civ's on earth want to thrive for, of course some thinking they'd be the King... I read a little in this link, where many efforts were created throughout history, of creating a perfect Utopia Society...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utopia

Might I suggest for the U.Project, it be included in the World Congress, for All Civ's willing, if Voted in like any other proposal voted on, that Civ's in the world Work as much as they want towards the Utpian Project. Just like the other world congress projects (World Fair), The U.Project will pay out 3 tier prizes to the top providers, of course with the heftiest one going to the 1st place, and so on for each level. L1 prize; +10 Tourism bonus for every completed SP tree the winner has completed and a free SP. L2 prize; +100% Culture. L3 prize +10% Culture and +10% Tourism.

@coolkat

key word is 'illuminate' or 'enlighten'. they were a secret society of scientists in Bavaria (southern Germany) in the late 1700's that were persecuted for their adversity to religion. nowadays they don't exist except in the minds of conspiracy theorists
