Okay guys I finally started Don't Starve (solo) to see what was wrong with the mod and I couldn't see any crashes besides one time when I used other outdated mods at the same time so I don't really get it. Please if you have trouble with the mod, even with the DST version just send me a friend request and show me the crash logs, I really don't see what doesn't work with the DS:RoG version so far and for SW I'd like to know what happened to you too.
Thanks

Really sorry, again, for not keeping Wilburn up-to-date. The game
has changed a lot and has had many updates since I created the
mod and since the code for Wilburn itself is very rudimentary and
pretty weak, it would take a lot of work to fix it, because some
parts of it are so sketchy and patchworked, fixing them well would
almost require to remake them entirely, or even remove entire
features if I can't find a better programming solution.
I could do it, but it would take me a lot of time, energy and
motivation, and I'm already drowning in real life work that I have
trouble getting done. I also haven't touched Lua or game
programming in a while, so that would take some time to get back
to it and make the mod work properly again.
Also, some of you told me that they would like to have Wilburn
work in Shipwrecked. Even though it makes me very happy to see
such enthusiasm ...
really suck balls in SW. Since the follower system has been left
aside a little in SW, and you find 1/50 as much gold as you do in
vanilla DS, Wilb would be powerless without being able to have his
pigs follow him across the sea, and he would never be able to craft
his items if I don't change them. Wilburn would be the worst
character ever for SW, unless I make new items and add a bunch
of cool stuff to help him. Unfortunately I have even less time for
doing that.
I don't know when I'm going to be free to work on Wilburn again, but
if someone wants to help me get it done more easily, you could
send me the crash logs and explain to me how they happen.
Even though I'm not really into DS as much as before, I like this
character and I'm pleased to see that people like it too. Sorry a
million times for looking lazy as fuck but I really don't have that
much time these days.
Bye bye

Menu color changer mod.
And you don't need to worry like that, mods cannot cause permanent damage, the worst thing you could get is an error screen in your new game.
- a screenshot of the WARNING screen when the game crashes
- or send me the content of the file at your Documents > Klei > DoNotStarve > log.txt.
God that name is a pain to type, anyways, your PC might now be able to support that mod, or another mod is interfering.
Well, I won't make a new version just for that, because that's probably not the only mistake in Wilburn's speech file. I'm french.
Mmwell.. What can I reply to this...
There is more to life than beard ? Maybe ?
I'm still working on the next version, which will include the new bell item (don't be too hyped, it's not that good), but while I'm at it I'm also trying to clean up all the beginner-level code that I made in the first version. This will ensure the mod's stability over future Don't Starve updates, and fix a few things that didn't work at all before. I'm especially working on hounds to make them actually interesting to have as followers. So far I managed to make them stop attacking everything at sight (they could still attack birds, I find that convenient), follow you as closely as they do with McTusk, and attack when you order them to. They even sleep at night now too (kawaii aspect). I'm working on making them perfectly loyal now. It's about time I fix that bug, but it's really difficult.
Real life is taking me more time. Please be patient. And thanks for trying out Wilburn and for the positive feedback !
@President Pootis Hoovy
That's one of the best comments so far.
1. Not a furry.
2. Not a furry outside the drawing style of the game.
3. Not outside the drawing style of the game
4. Balanced well.
5. Custom items are awesome.
I guess I will add the bell anyway so people can play with it. It is a bell that you can craft very early in the game for almost nothing that has a very simple effect, but can be extremely useful at times and practically solve an eternal problem.
I also added a bloom effect to the crown to give it gorgeous master race graphics. This should come soon in let's say version 0.9.8.
Sorry for not working as actively as I used to, I'm very busy with school, my exams are on the way, like a Deerclops that is about to come in a few nights.
And my main concern with Wilburn is that playing with him leads to a huge mess. Pigs everywhere, triggering your toothtraps, fighting your bees... It's part of what makes his downsides, but it's still pretty annoying.
Heheheheh. Well, good luck with him. You'll be asking for buffs once you have.
For the record, I don't know if anyone else has said this, but the pigs just do that as soon as the sun starts setting. Had nothing to do with the spiders.
