I love playing Walnut, she is now my dedicated character with my group of friends. However, the last time I played, every time I died, and came through the portal, she became a normal character and lost all her abilities. Now I have to reboot the game every time I die. I dunno if that's normal, or a bug. Besides that, she is amazing, Thank you so much!

I love her! It motivated me to play again.

How does one create mod characters for Don't Starve?

Sorry guys, I haven't played this in forever. I honestly don't know when she'll get fixed, so I'm not going to pretend I do. I do intend on fixing her but I'm not sure when that will happen.

I really wish the night vision was working properly so that I could use her :( Can't wait to try her once it's all patched up though!

I absolutely love this character :D She's definitely my favorite. The only thing I noticed however for bugs is losing the night vision. It was right after my sanity had dipped really low and it was raining frogs. Other than that you did an absolutely outstanding job, I really enjoy playing with this character :3

There are some bugs. When you die as Walnut, you lose your night vision capabilities when resed - either by touchstone or another player with a tell tale heart. But I have also lost the night vision randomly too (much to my dismay) like when being caught on fire near a touchstone that a friend used to resurrect themselves.

Yo, I think I can help you with the nightvision issue and make it so only the character has it. I think. It may have changed how to do it.

I just tried to kill a mole outside of the ground at night, and it seems to work. Just when they are inside of the ground at night it crashes

When I attack moles at night it seems to crash my game, and when I have multipule mods on it crashes as well.

Survived my first winter as this adorable character, went completely nomadic lifestyle for the whole season, it was easy I'd say, and the whole team was thankful for my exploration and periodic food supplies with berries and carrots :) Awesome character, thanks to the author :3

Thanks! Yeah it was weird. I did start the game in summer and even at night the heat wave came. I had to constatly be under trees. I would say it was the Beta for RoG but the person I played with didn't have this problem. I did restart in autumn and got a thermal stone to prepare for summer. I'll let you know if it works. XD

I've never had her overheat, and I went through 3 summers with her.. hrrm.. I'll try to look into it though!

I am playing Walnut in the Beta for Reign of Giants, and she over heats really fast. Is that supposed to happen?

ahh, i keep forgetting she can eat stale and spoiled food. that is a pretty good balance, but i dont know, maybe i just have trouble with gathering food :p and yea no problem, again i might be the only one that thinks about this soo :3

Her hunger does drain quickly, but, she also has a small tummy. she can usually survive on a few berries a day, since berries give her +9 hunger and her stomach only goes up to 100. I don't really think I'll change her hunger considering she can eat stale/spoiled food and can see in the dark, I don't really want to make her "too overpowered" as far as surviving goes. But thank you for the comment. I'll think about it!

I love her very much,but her hunger drains soooo quickly! I don't know if that's just me but I had to eat all the time to the point where it got really annoyingD: if her hunger didnt drain so quickly i would use her all the time :3

@Senorsmoothiebuns, if you're playing online, the person who is hosting the DST server has to have her downloaded, it doesn't really matter if you do or not. You can use any mod that the server host has, and only their mods!

i subscribed to this mod, enabled it in game, but i cant select walnut for a character at that screen, am i doing something wrong?

@Fishyflakes I mainly used Willow because it fits her better than anyone else's, I thought about picking Wendy's. In the future she may get her own voice. Willow just currently fits her the best, Wickerbottom doesn't fit her much at all. Also I have no idea who/what Racky is...?

I wish this was for the base game too, I'd love to play her alone. But otherwise, I love her!

Why is that? If it's her design, I don't plan on changing her, if it's her stats or perks, what do you dislike? I plan on making at least a few other characters, which will be extremely different.
