Something has caused this mod to go off the rails. It was very good when I first tried it last year but recently a number of problems have cropped up. Some unit sizes are now half of their indicated strength (i.e. a unit says 160 but is only 80 strong). Some unit types that were previously available have now disappeared. Enemy heavy units have the ability to chase cavalry around the battlefield Benny Hill style without getting tired (while my cavalry rightly becomes exhausted). An enemy attack held at bay would previously have caused a draw but now at the last minute it suddenly wins, as if a switch has been flicked in the settings. Given the behaviour and characteristics now you might as well add modern battle tanks and they probably wouldn't look that out of place given how the rest of the enemy units now work. A complete reinstall hasn't helped, I think something has just junked the mod so I'm going to bin it and develop on my own.

Not sure if this MOD is good.
1) I absolutely don't like the units' icons. The colors are not contrasting. It looks like an undefinable mess . It is very hardly to perceive it. The oroginal units' icons much better.
2) A terrible russian translation. I just can't read it. Looks like it's done by Google tracnslation.
3) I tried it in the middle of my campaign and suddenly I have more money, more income per turn. Looks like it will be too easy to play this way.
4) You won't find the new units description in in-game Encyclopedia.

I have removed the MOD.

So... the Irish create a Romano-Brisith state in Wales and two turns later that state has a full army of Roman troops. :steamthumbsdown:

hello there radious mod would it be possible to add in some way watchtowers or watchtower effect near own borders not tof ar in enemy territory just like it would in real territory where scout/guards would keep look out in towers or on hills mountains in trees and the like?

Btw the unit vandali comitatus is invinsible. Which is a general unit from the vandals. I surrounded it with 6 cavalry units for 10 minutes and its still going strong.....

are the garrisons supposed to be this strong especially for rome, every settlment is almost a stack with tier 3 units? or is it a conflict for me with another mod.

fvriovs: Make sure you have no outdated files or mod remains in data folder. VFS error is almost always caused by that.

Mod crashes to desktop with "VFS error" on launch. It thinks it's incompatible with the necessary submods.

Tried unsubscribing from all mods and deleting files from workshop and then resubscribe and it still doesn't work

Griffith: Many upgrades been removed and units work as standalone, not replacements. Only basic weak units can be upgraded. Its all in changelog for years good Sir.

@Radious, I cant seem to upgrade units after getting the tech, specifically spear men in rome western. I have all 3 mods, and some visual mods as well. Otherwise I love the work!

Hi, I am trying to use PFM (pack files manager) to modify startpos (I do NOT want 20 vassals baby sitting for sassanids. Hate that garbage) but my own version seems to crash when run with your mod. So I am trying to edit the startpos with your mod instead. However I cannot find the pack file in the data folder. Could you tell me where it is, or if you use other methods to compile your mod?

Been doing a Ostrogothic campaign in The Last Roman and I'm getting a weird bug where I can't recruit new navies. I have the required Imperium and a crapload of money to do it, yet, when I press recruit an admiral nothing happens. Revive legacy doesn't work either. I'm checking Attila files' integrity now through Steam to see if it helps, but is this a known bug? I had the same thing happen to me in another TLR Ostrogoth campaign a few years back

Okay, I just recently found out a missing weapon for Belobog Long Axes in Sclavenians. During idle and in-battle animations but well its just a minor problem no big deal.

Only half of the unit upgrades show properly, so basically the garrison units will stay tier I all game even if I research the upgrades. Anyone else with this issue?

For roman army traditions, it says you get a fatigue rate debuff for your cavalry units with the nomad hunters tradition? Surely that can't be right and it should be a buff right?
