Only real fixes are to move the hands further from the table or use a top-down camera ( P ). If players can handle using their bottom-screen hands and/or the Draw deck command without needing the actual hand zone location in front of their seat, it's a nice workaround. Wouldn't hurt to set up a second table under the remote hand zones so cards don't accidentally fall into the tabletop-less abyss.
The collection used this priority system:
1. Mod's Files Availability: Mod with all/most files still available for download
2. Feature completeness: Mod with greatest inclusion of expansions and/or promos available for the board game title
2. Scripting: Mod with scripting that most reduces work in setup/play for players
3. Component Quality: Mod with the best visuals/usability in terms of component quality
4. Table Setup/Ambiance: Mod with the best immersion with table, background, and other modeling.
Please also note that a mod that makes selection for this list very well could be one in which the mod author borrowed the majority of assets from another workshop listing, so full thanks to all who worked on a mod.
Thanks for your hard work!
The only pieces I can think of which are missing are the oval tokens for each individual internal threat, of which there were loads, and... I think it was 3 black and 3 white cubes, which were meant to be used for tracking the positive and negative effects applied to threats, such as 'this has lost its cryo shields' or 'this thing has +1 shield'. The cubes you can easily add yourself if you want them - my group never bothered with them, hence the reason I completely forgot them.
Thanks for yours!
i´m working on a german translated version of Space Alert and i wanna ask if it would be possible to use some of your pictures please?
I don't own the english version of the game, so I can't scan the missing parts or the expansion myself, but I'd be willing to mod this into TTS if someone sends me the scans.
The 'advanced' threats are ones with yellow symbols. Apparently when I scanned them in, I only did the basic (white) ones. The base game comes with white and yellow threat cards and the expansion adds red.
At the start of the game, you decide what combination of threats you want - you can have any combination of the colours and it only effects difficulty. Back when I played the physical version of this alot, the best we ever did was yellow, and that was REALLY hard, which is why I only bothered scanning the whites initially - I didn't want to waste time on the yellows if it wasn't going to get played much. But, seeing as over 2000 people have apparently subscribed to this, I'll see if I can find time this weekend to scan in at least the base-game yellow cards.
Since I have never played the physical game, in the handbook there is a mention of "advanced common threats" and "advanced serious threat". In total there should be 55 threat cards, but I can only see 37. There are threat cards with golden symbols instead of purple, I did not see them in game. Are those important? Only part of the expansion? Thanks for any information!
I wish there was a way to have your character sheet permanent in the game.
