@Robster Most of them should work with HW2 Classic; the Classic versions are included in the TFS mod for HW2 Classic.

Does this map pack also work for Homeworld 2 Classic?

With this mod, selecting some new maps leads to a crash and then a general failure, although I've noticed that one of the ones I tried to select that crashed the game isn't on the list in the descrtiption. Anything I can do to stop this annoying general failure on some maps only?

@captsmasher Yes TFS is on Steam, but it's only for Homeworld 2 Classic.

Is the file name DataMP.big. Is it under dataupdates? I cant seem to find out what the file is because there are alot of .big files. If it is i cant extract it either. It keeps saying unsupported file type. Plus i think you should update your instructions, they are really vague.

could you make a mod that adds the "whopper" map to homeworld 2 classic? Trying to combine moods to use that map with FX:Commander, but it refuses to let the mods combine. Mainly trying to do this, as it would be awesome to play as the turanic raiders on whopper.

Amazing. People like you have improved this game quite a bit over its release a few months back. I think its an interesting experiment to devote all of your time to updating the game and not adding much content, but immediately opening the workshop.

Its just really annoying to always having to go into the Mods menu and re-select every single map pack.. Why doesnt the launcher simply save your last selected mods.

Yea, I can't figure out where to download the maps. If I enable the mod after subbing I can use it in SP but I cant use it in MP.

Fenrir, the maps run in the Homeworld Remastered version of the game, so yes they have high-resolution textures and are otherwise up to date.

The TFS mod is a seperate download, and is currently only for Homeworld 2 Classic: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=398983107
