Thanks to Narkodes for pointing out the reload bug. Map updated and bug fixed.
Narkodes 17 Oct, 2018 @ 4:27pm
Sonderbar...
Nobody No-One 10 Jun, 2018 @ 12:03pm
Yeah, I saw you updated it and I was a bit puzzled.
toncica  [author] 10 Jun, 2018 @ 12:02pm
Thanks for playing. It sounds that everything went alright if your solution doesn't differ too much from Sandificator. Just a few hours ago I learned that alternative solutions were possible and the map was updated.
Nobody No-One 10 Jun, 2018 @ 11:47am
Very nice adaptation of Sandificator. I remembered parts of the solution of Sandificator and when there were some extra/different steps in this version it really confused me for a while in the beginning. I had forgotten some of the last moves, and for some reason it helped to replay Sandificator and figure the moves out there, then come back to this one and adapt them to the slightly different design. Both versions are brilliant puzzles. Thumbs up and added to favorites.

thanks toncica.

It's just a picture that shows in letters how the spoiler tags are applied. It's because of your previous comment where you used the wrong brackets, it wasn't a big deal though.
jandlml 9 Dec, 2017 @ 6:50pm
hey polux what is that a link to? i cant open it
jandlml 12 Mar, 2017 @ 3:42pm
have to thank sloppy steve and red silencer for helping me through this most difficult map
jandlml 12 Mar, 2017 @ 3:41pm
excellent map. it was just that one spot where i couldnt get past. i could get both cubes {spoiler]in the room with the bridge button but couldnt figure out how to bring the funnel in with me{spoiler}
jandlml 12 Mar, 2017 @ 3:27pm
thank you so much toncica i have been trying for 3 days to get past this one spot in this map.
toncica  [author] 12 Mar, 2017 @ 8:57am
Low quality video walkthrough added. Beware of eye cancer.
Snoitulover 12 Mar, 2017 @ 7:29am
Interesting. How would you prevent it? The laser looked to be at the same level.
Snoitulover 12 Mar, 2017 @ 7:27am
Yeah, spring is here and my time will be spent more outdoors soon. I encourage all to do the same. But please don't stay away!
toncica  [author] 12 Mar, 2017 @ 7:26am
@SloppySteve, I'm pretty sure I prevented that trick, so that was indeed time wasted. :(
toncica  [author] 12 Mar, 2017 @ 7:24am
@SloppySteve, my excursions into Portal have become rare and I haven't played your map Knuckle Ball yet, but it's good to know that this map offered inspiration. That's the fascinating aspect of the workshop. My map wouldn't exist without Dreamer and this version wouldn't be as polished without Prototype . We all contribute to science. :)
Snoitulover 12 Mar, 2017 @ 7:18am
Sadly I wasted 1/2 hour trying to do that trick and could not pull it off!
toncica  [author] 12 Mar, 2017 @ 7:13am
@jandlml, of course that's not the intended way. When you watch a Polux video it's NEVER the intended way. I'm just trying to make a joke by saying it is.
jandlml 10 Mar, 2017 @ 9:54pm
is the way polux got the cube back really the way. this map is so hard. i agree with requiemsoul!:steamsad:
Snoitulover 10 Mar, 2017 @ 8:44pm
I was watching Polux's walkthroughs....LOL. Wicked cube trick.
Snoitulover 9 Mar, 2017 @ 8:06pm
I will admit that a long time ago I watched a walkthrough. This time it was a bit different. You made some small changes. I had spent enough tim e on it before that I still remember where wevrything is and how it works. I llike your changes a lot. The solution is wicked clever and very fun. I recently asked you to check out my map, Knuckle Ball. Some of it was inspired here. There are some who create massive maps with many rooms and elements and cannot accomplish this level of depth and deception. Hats off to you, Toncica. This one is amongst the best and deserves the nomination it got. I hope you come back and make more. :)
toncica  [author] 17 Oct, 2015 @ 7:45pm
Probably... ;)

There is a walkthrough video if you think you need to take a peek.
Unowninator 17 Oct, 2015 @ 7:40pm
Then I'm clearly doing it wrong, lol
toncica  [author] 17 Oct, 2015 @ 7:26pm
Timing is not necessary or wanted in this puzzle to hit the laser relay.
Unowninator 17 Oct, 2015 @ 6:28pm
If I'm supposed to hit the laser relay the way I think is intended (timing the funnel & portaling the angled panel), then I just can't do it. I wish there was a lightbridge or something to make the timing easier.
toncica  [author] 26 Sep, 2015 @ 1:03pm
Haha, yesterday when Prototype was editing his update he asked if he should be mean and put the laser catcher on the wall. I said he doesn't have to be mean. :)
DeathWish808 26 Sep, 2015 @ 12:59pm
I especially liked the angling of the cube part.
toncica  [author] 26 Sep, 2015 @ 12:57pm
I would think so, especially so shortly after playing Prototype's map. The little changes can throw you off, but they are very similar now.
DeathWish808 26 Sep, 2015 @ 12:20pm
This was still challenging after playing Prototype's remake. :-)
Ganymede 28 May, 2015 @ 6:16pm
These kind of puzzles are both trivial and deviously tricky.

They're trivial because you already know the steps from the other versions you played.

They're devious because your mind is stuck in the other version and won't accept any of the "new" moves.

I had the same thing happen to me in the Piece of Cake puzzles. They're really similar in shape and size, but the moves differed substantially.

Right now, I'm not sure which I like more: this or Sandy's Twin. I like the atmosphere and opening in Sandy's Twin, but I think this one has more moves and is cleaner. Tough call.
jandlml 21 Apr, 2015 @ 2:23pm
ohh ok thanks
toncica  [author] 21 Apr, 2015 @ 2:57am
You can change the orientation of the cube by changing the orientation of the entry portal.
jandlml 20 Apr, 2015 @ 7:46pm
how do you get the cube to end up right side up in the funnel. mine keeps ending pointing down.
toncica  [author] 12 Apr, 2015 @ 1:24pm
Thanks Talisac, it looks like the puzzle failed to intimidate you which is the key to successful puzzle solving. I'd say you were pretty fast if you haven't played a previous version before.
Talisac 12 Apr, 2015 @ 8:27am
What to say... you're a crazy map builder, and the number of steps needed to finish them is just incredible (and most of them are quite creative!) We really progress very slowly in the map, each step asks a lot of actions but just move a cube from there to there, that's quite a strange feeling.

I liked this solid puzzle and spent a huge amont of time in it (50'+?) but I can't tell if it's that difficult. I mean... You always know where you go, it's like thousands of mini puzzles for each step, and you need to stay focus or you start running in circle crying, but somehow you always progress further and rarely you're going in the wrong direction. Always have that feeling playing your maps :)
toncica  [author] 10 Mar, 2015 @ 7:32am
@Brave, I'm glad you finished the puzzle. Everything you did was intended except using the funnel one time to transport the cube instead of using the sendificator but that's cool, I'm aware of that option. Changing that would have too many disadvantages and it doesn't really matter anyway, you only risk losing the cube if it touches the fizzler.
Polux 10 Mar, 2015 @ 4:00am
Sh*t!
Me who thought be the only one for ever....
I have a thought for Prototype,
you did a good job on this one you guys.
Brave 9 Mar, 2015 @ 7:46pm
Incredibly hard map for me, but your video was helpful in getting me started! I watched your video again to understand how to get the reflector below the grating with the solid cube, after that I figured the rest on my own, but it wasn't easy! After solving your map I watch your video again to see if I did the puzzles intended, but I think I conveyed the solid cube over to the weighted cube button unintended, I might of did other things differently too... here's my 3 dems [www.dropbox.com] zipped.
After solving I went back into the map again to make the demos, otherwise you would of been watching about 2 hours of demos... lol
I'm glad I finished this brainbuster... thumbs up for a fun complex test!
Requiemsoul 9 Mar, 2015 @ 5:58pm
Please, please Syriza-Troika difficulty for your next chamber,....Better nope :)
Anyway, The funniest thing is the previous name of your chamber: Simple Sandy lol
toncica  [author] 9 Mar, 2015 @ 5:31pm
Thanks Requiemsoul, your motivation knows no limits, it's always a pleasure with you. About your suggestion to upgrade the difficulty rating to Syriza-Troika... this map is challenging but not THAT hard. Thanks for playing. :)
Requiemsoul 9 Mar, 2015 @ 4:48pm
My first solution of this map was easy, my second unintended solution was clever and i love it... and at last! I have solved the intended one!!. Obviously, I have need some hints... but i´m proud. This map is a masterpiece like all chambers of Toncica. Very well done, amigo. No words. Big Thumbs up and favorited.
toncica  [author] 9 Mar, 2015 @ 9:38am
Oh dear Brave, that's unfortunate that the standard cube wasn't there to help you. Without it you literally can't do anything. If I may give this advice to the poor lads trying this map: the closest thing to a friend you will find here is the angled panel. Walkthrough will be added soon. Thanks for trying. :)
Brave 9 Mar, 2015 @ 9:01am
Difficulty "I have no friends," that's awesome and probably the best difficulty map rating i've seen!
Onto the map, I played about and hour of it over the weekend and I noticed a few dissimilar things about it, e.g. figuring out how to get the solid cube, (which I couldn't figure out how to trigger it) the laser catcher is positioned on the wall where Prototype's is attached to the ceiling.

I admire Polux love for the game cause I once had it, but my love for PeTI maps has diminished in the last 3 or more months, and solving hard to impossible maps is just exhausting to me now!

Like usual the map designed is well put together and very clean looking which is what I like about your maps, and I will always continue playing your maps toncica even if I can't finish them!
Polux 8 Mar, 2015 @ 2:55pm
Score!
I think the map is really solid now, awesome puzzle.
Definitely a favorite :)
toncica  [author] 7 Mar, 2015 @ 6:15am
Updated, fixed glitch and I believe your cube dropper trick won't work anymore, sorry. :)
toncica  [author] 6 Mar, 2015 @ 2:28pm
Once again, 100% intended. Well done. :P
I have to fix that glitch though.
Polux 6 Mar, 2015 @ 2:13pm
Sorry toncica, I am stuck and when I am stuck I can do anything :p

Oh, yes indeed. Nice.
Sometimes, we forget the fundamentals..
toncica  [author] 5 Mar, 2015 @ 3:38pm
Thanks Polux, map updated. Mostly intended except towards the end of course. I was surprised to see you go a long way to bring the cubes down. The way is supposed to be shorter: http://youtu.be/LLf1-ylXmEM
