Your description doesn't give away the solution but it really helps to understand what's happening. I'm working on a new map and will have a link for you probably tomorrow.

I understand.
I can't remember much about it from the original portal.
hence, the experimenting in the editor.
I have had a portal & TWTM break.
but will get back to it soon.
a link to a new TWTM map of yours would help me get back to it :)
hint, hint.
ps. I was worried the math in the description might give the solution away.

Hey mood. I played with this one so many times. I guess I don't have enough experience with pellets. I read your description. It is clear so that's not it. Maybe the TWTM concepts combined with an element I've hardly ever worked with is the reason I resorted to the video. After watching, it still took several tries to get that door open. :) This is a really good puzzle map. Can't imagine the workings of a mind that could create something as impressive as this. Great work.

all constructive feedback welcome. good or bad.
glass & grating, are to stop accidental deaths from goo & being crushed by piston.
their is a "multiple function" & an "OR gate" on the piston, (& connected to it)
to prevent getting trapped, if the player is on it when it is deactivated.
