This is super great! If you don't mind a suggestion, if you replaced that yellow with a near-white (like 85% on greyscale) and made this a patina, a lot of your dark colors would become richer, and you could make it so the top of the snake changed color as the wear went down. Excellent Design, hope to see more from you folks!
