@Granjor: Any issues with the merge block detaching will be ownership related, shouldn't have any issues if the ownership is left on 'nobody'
I noticed in your video that yes you got the name of the group wrong but when you checked the built ship their was no thruster group.
you may have to make the group for thrusters on each individual module that has thrusters rather than on the cockpit alone, you may be losing the grouping when the modules are built but if they all have the same groups they may merge together on the built ship.
If that doesn't work you'll need to make you're own blueprints of each module having changed their ownership to 'Me' also so they match up, then load them into the projectors.. Fiddly I know, sorry... but merge blocks will only connect if both parts have the same ownership and blueprints hold ownership settings, so the ones that are loaded in that save are owned by nobody currently.
Anyone else who's trying it having this issue? Very hard for me to test as my local copy is owned by me ofc.
