in Phoenix lore, military service is considered a high honor in society, as each person gives their life to the defense of that society. therefore, they are to be honored as much as or more than those who are not willing to risk their safety so clearly. it is a military life that, while very disciplined and regimented, also comes with a certain amount of luxury. this would contrast with politicians, who are instead paid a minimum wage. this happens so that 1) politics is considered a service to society, not a seat of power 2) by feeling the affects of minimum wage, one is more attuned to the state of an ecomony they have power over. they are also encouraged to maintain their previous jobs, furthering this "attunement" and providing a primary income
May I ask, how did you create the pictures with the writing, and the labels for each section of the vessel?
I feel safer already, just thinking of flying that vessel.
Good job on the internal layout as well.
Judging from the photo's
all the crew stations make sense visually.
Keep up the good work! :-)
this is all assuming, of course, that you have change the ownership of everything to yourself
@seb_wilkins i have considered using both those designs at times, but it has been difficult for me to come up with something that deviated sufficiently from the original design. i don't want to create a replica, so i would like something a bit less recognizable. still, the remain as considerations and i will probably eventually have something with such inspiration.
I love how your ships are both functional, and awesome-looking.
I guess form really does follow function.
