It looks weird when its not tinted like original windows, but great idea.
All right! 30. maj 2020 kl. 15:14
Great mod.
It's not supported yet? I can fix texture. If author get mi original *.fbx files.
RainbowSkyDancer 19. apr. 2020 kl. 23:24
Alright, I'll do it in that case
DangerousFat 12. apr. 2020 kl. 7:49
@ericlnu I know it's nice to wait for permission, but the original guy hasn't posted in this thread in nearly 4 years, just go for it.
RainbowSkyDancer 4. apr. 2020 kl. 7:39
I'm setting up SEUT [space-engineers-modding.github.io] now. Once I get familiar with the new blender UI I'll churn these out. Still waiting on permission to publish, however.

Yeah, gonna make it so these have a tint; I like them too much to not use them.

With your permission @Eikester, I'll publish an update.

RainbowSkyDancer 31. mar. 2020 kl. 18:43
Was thinking of adding a tint to them, once I figure out how.
RainbowSkyDancer 31. mar. 2020 kl. 18:43
Indeed, sad no tint. Made an addition to a building, and used these. No tint. *sad*
Titan Nya 18. feb. 2020 kl. 5:15
@Spartan844 probably because it haven't been updated for years...
Samgineer 16. jan. 2020 kl. 10:36
@Eikster How come there isn't any tint on the windows?:KOh:
爪ℝ. N𝕚ɔє Ǥυץ Ossi 1. nov. 2019 kl. 5:36
Can anyone fix that Textur?
butoszyjca 7. maj 2019 kl. 13:30
Same here, no tinted glass, fully transparent only. Its sad, coz i like to make my ships to look like crapy ganster BMW with dark windows :)
Roeposa 26. apr. 2019 kl. 17:37
Not View glass inverted ,,, no texture glass
Spaceman Spiff 12. jan. 2019 kl. 21:23
You have what appear to be inverted versions of the curved windows, but neither of each type has a tint (see the earlier comment). Can it be fixed?
Zolli 22. sep. 2018 kl. 10:29
Can you please do a "center" block not having frames on the left and right side, respectively , "left" and "right" terminating blocks? That way we could do long glass windows.
Froggy 14. sep. 2018 kl. 14:10
Love this mod. Thanks. Really nice mod though thanks again.
Max 007 9. aug. 2018 kl. 10:14
Just make 1x2 and 1x3 (and maybe some other sizes) with the respective corners and we're in business.
Hugh Manatee 18. apr. 2018 kl. 15:50
@Angius. My sore thumb sticks out like a sore thumb. Originally, my thumb bandage had no tint in it. So, it stood out like a rounded window. Believe me, I can empathise.

Anyway, hope your thumb gets better. Remember, use a tinted window on it next time. It will help it heal quicker.
Angius 3. feb. 2018 kl. 17:35
No tint on them, they stick out like a sore thumb.
caffiend 25. dec. 2017 kl. 12:48
@ -DDSSTT- Howabout a varient that has the sensor block and window as a single block, with the sensor "behind" the glass
-DDSSTT- 3. nov. 2017 kl. 10:04
Eikester, if anyone can do this it is you. Can you mod the windows so they do not block sensors? This might mean a "pseudo" window block that has no hit boxes... The reasoning behind this is I dislike sensor blocks being seen on the surface, and want to visually hide them behind glass... similar to this:

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/18/F-35_EOTS.jpeg/220px-F-35_EOTS.jpeg

This will also allow people to conceal "radars" behing the glass too.
Arkhlus 12. sep. 2017 kl. 0:25
Hey, thanks for the mod, it would be nice if you could fix broken glass :steamhappy:
silkstrands 5. aug. 2017 kl. 15:11
Does this work for small ships?
Cosmic Daddy 3. apr. 2017 kl. 12:37
Hi! I used to looooove this mod as I prefer round shapes to angullar ones for my ships and stations. But today, all "glass effect" is gone :( I hope, dear Eikester, that you will have time to fix this if it's possible. Great mod anyway ! :)
Shroom 25. feb. 2017 kl. 22:49
Is it just me or is the glass on these windows invisible from the outside view?
Asher 6. jan. 2017 kl. 21:16
just wondering if this is fixed yet along with https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=409488246 and the creative version aswell ?
Eikester  [ophavsmand] 19. dec. 2016 kl. 15:48
@breandanlee these need adjustments, they have changed glass renderer from 1 plane rendered both sides to 2 planes only render one side
MisterB0420 19. dec. 2016 kl. 15:38
i dunno if it's an issue on my end, i have had some odd rendering issues of late, but the glass in these windows is almost invisible from both sides. it doesn't match up with the vanilla glass
Eikester  [ophavsmand] 14. dec. 2016 kl. 12:12
Windows should now be Airtight
Sir.Jacobus 18. okt. 2016 kl. 9:02
and - I am playing on Dx11 (i5 3350P, 8 Gb RAM, MSI GTX 760 OC) if it maybe helps...
Sir.Jacobus 18. okt. 2016 kl. 8:59
Hello, it is great but when I use many of the rounded blocks, the performance impact is massive.... - doesn´t affect the normal, vanilla windwos... is that a bug or it is working as intended and it is not (technologically) possible to fix it at this time?
Mame Bus 20. sep. 2016 kl. 3:05
wow, thankk you so much! i was just working n a build when i got stuck because i needed round windows! I almost scraped it but than I found this! thak you sooo much!
Cold Phusion 20. aug. 2016 kl. 22:47
Love the Windows! just wish they were airtight!
Hugh Manatee 17. maj 2016 kl. 5:59
So, out of the rigid structure of discovery and knowledge, we have the free flow of ideas, always flexible and ready for change. It is our mind open for inspiration and ready for new discoveries, wherever they may lead us, represented in glass and architecture. =P

Have enjoyed incorporating these as an architectural feature, over using them as windows. This is one way I have used them. This is an Egyptian museum. The structure is mostly square, solid, rigid and made of glass, all symbolic. The square solid structure represents Egypt in its solid architecture, the glass panels are the blocks that built the pyramid. If you notice the roof. Outside, on the front, it looks like a modern feature. However, it is a bit like a pyramid when viewed from inside & below. But, it continues into the main hall & transforms into a cobalt ceiling, used for the first time in the main pyramid. Your windows on the front is meant to look like ribbons flowing in the wind.
Gygas 30. mar. 2016 kl. 18:49
you, my man/woman, are a savior!
Captain Katawa 7. okt. 2015 kl. 9:13
Are the bulletproof?
danpaul88 25. aug. 2015 kl. 11:49
I've noticed a slight bug with these... if I position my character on the inside of the curve, in an air tight environment with oxygen, my HUD shows "no oxygen" and I take damage with no helmet on - it seems like the block containing the window doesn't ever contain any oxygen, making curved edges to viewing windows somewhat deadly :/ Not sure if this is a known issue or not, but thought it was worth mentioning :)
Pharap 30. juli 2015 kl. 8:16
Had to delete the sbm file to force it to update but the mod is working as intended now.

As a side note, not sure how worried you are about this but the shader makes it really obvious that the 'smooth corner' is actually a low-poly UV sphere: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=490945119

My thoughts:
A) Ignore it
B) Might be an issue with the normals
C) Might be a side effect of the shader
D) Might be less noticeable on a medium-high poly icosphere
Eikester  [ophavsmand] 30. juli 2015 kl. 7:22
the inverted windows should now work again, sorry for delay
Pharap 29. juli 2015 kl. 20:21
The inverted windows are the same as the regular windows.
PaffaLon™ 20. juli 2015 kl. 13:51
Really awsome windows!!
However the non-inverted windows or reverted windows has to be reverted beacuse the non-reverted & reverted windows. Both behave as a reverted window of the moment.
Ubikjam 13. juli 2015 kl. 16:32
Pls fix - this is a great mod otherwise
The Vault-Dragon 11. juli 2015 kl. 15:16
++
Badger 7. juli 2015 kl. 5:50
FIX the non-inverted windows please!!
Tiger 26. juni 2015 kl. 19:29
BUGs -- there are no differences between the normal and "inverted" version of any of these blocks. They all have the clear side and the reflective side on exactly the same side.
PanTáta69 21. juni 2015 kl. 11:11
That inverted version is not inverted
Angius 20. juni 2015 kl. 12:24
Also, there's no glass texture on DX11, just an empty frame.
