Any plans for small?
Maison De Cornusiac 8 Jan, 2020 @ 2:33am
Means, windows disappeared from g-menu and built ones vanished from creations. Just after some hotfix they sent after latest update.

At this time, this mod gives a "critical error" warning after loading a savegame.

Small?

As a functional feature, you could make the require less glass and more metal, and also be stronger than normal windows.

For small ships it will be so useful for plane style :steamhappy:
Wygos 24 Feb, 2018 @ 11:25pm

Ok, the issue should be fixed now. :engi:
Admiral Daviour [JSSG]  [author] 27 Jan, 2016 @ 3:39am
That's a strange issue. I will look into it later today.
Fu$ion 27 Jan, 2016 @ 3:35am
SAme here, unfortunately the author is playing Elite:D so we won't see him for a few years :)
zakhm123 24 Jan, 2016 @ 6:53am
@Mattacon same thing is happening to me
Mattacon 14 Jan, 2016 @ 12:34am
I'm not sure what's happening, but for some reason the windows' icons have vanished in my world. I almost swore that the windows mod wasn't working but I can still select them as usual. Just that without any icons I am unable to tell which window I am holding in my hands now.
lyzer 11 Jan, 2016 @ 4:17pm
Small ship version pls!

I have now updated all AIS mods to be DX11 compatible. :engi:
Greytest 15 Aug, 2015 @ 9:29pm
It's so sad seeing so many brilliant mods left behind because of DX11 =(
I'm sure you could find help from other modders if needed...

Cheers,
Greytest

OI! What happened to your bridge windows? The mod disappeared a few moments ago and utterly gutted my flagship!

I had to go into the mods file and make a local copy to keep my ship from leaking air like a sieve, but that's not going to work very well online.

Those windows were positively brillaint, so I hope their removal was some sort of mistake. Please look into it. Thanks!
PainGifter 10 Jul, 2015 @ 4:35pm
Dx-11 Please.
Tiger 15 Jun, 2015 @ 8:41pm
Will there be added DX11 textures at some point?
Hellsteel1974 23 Mar, 2015 @ 4:34am
Glad to hear it was pretty easily fixed. Now we can have our ships with pressurized hulls and great looking windows :)
Admiral Daviour [JSSG]  [author] 23 Mar, 2015 @ 3:26am
Oh hey, thanks! Yeah after some digging I figured out that apparently it was that simple, just add a line of code and tada... I still have no clue why some components worked and others didn't but at least this fixed to mod in such a way that you can use it with the new oxygen system. :engi:
Hellsteel1974 23 Mar, 2015 @ 3:01am
Hello again, I have personally no knowledge of SE modding but author of this mod , Tristavius, seem to have fixed his sloped windows and talked about some tag for oxygen or something in the comments of his mod, perhaps he could help?
Admiral Daviour [JSSG]  [author] 22 Mar, 2015 @ 10:08pm
TL;DR Version : Keen done did screw up their mod tools for a lot of people and an incompatible version of my 3D program with a now critical plug-in resulted in development of these mods basically coming to a halt. :engi:
Admiral Daviour [JSSG]  [author] 22 Mar, 2015 @ 10:07pm
As far as I know only the corner blocks aren't working at the moment. Since those windows were using the same collision meshes as the stock windows that means that it's more or less Keens fault that they aren't air-tight.

The obvious solution would be to simply make my own collision meshes. Problem is, the Havoc physics plug-in (2012 version that Keen uses) used to generate those properties does not work with my version of 3DS Max, the 2014 version of the plug-in however does but MVM Builder does not accept that. On top of that, I am forced to use an older version of MVM builder (a program used convert the models to a format the engine reads) because the current version is also broken in some way.

Currently it seems like it's up to Keen software to fix their mod tools as I'm not going to go through the trouble of trying out every version of 3DS Max or Maya that they could possibly have used that actually is capable of generating the files that will work in Space Engineers.
Tiger 22 Mar, 2015 @ 8:12pm
Hopefully you figure out how to make these work with the air system. They look great on my new cruiser hull, but having the crew quarters leak like a screen door just will not do, and I had to temporarily swap them for the vanilla windows.
Admiral Daviour [JSSG]  [author] 19 Mar, 2015 @ 8:57pm
I have not yet got a chance to have a look at how the oxygen system works (the patch only came out a day ago for me) so I'll have to patch the mod when I have had a chance to give it a look.
Hellsteel1974 19 Mar, 2015 @ 2:35pm
Seems something is going on with sloped windows in mods, they leak oxygen out with the latest patch from Keen: Sloped porthole windows in game with oxygen. And then again, Eike mastered to block air escaping with her round windows: Airtight round windows.

Really? You're SURPRISED? I'm not.... after the wildfire.... nay, thermonuclear popularity of Minecraft, applying Minecraft-esque things like mining and building with blocks to a great damage and physics system is a stroke of genius. Add in the fact that there are very few (Or none, I haven't player ALL the space games out there after all) games that you can FPS and 3rd person in that are set exclusively in space, and that the space sim genre as a whole really crashed in the last decade..... yeah, of course Space Engineers would have a massively talented and motivated community.

To the creator; thank you for this mod! Now I can give my WarShip builds windows that aren't easy targets for boarding parties!

Jeez... sometimes i think the modding community for this game is bigger than fallouts and skyrims...

this will help to make the first interstellar macdonalds ingame ever hahahahaha, at least the playpark
Dee 16 Mar, 2015 @ 9:47am
Could you create a non-torpedo launcher porthole door? Just for normal use... A bit like the air tight doors found in most of NASA's spacecraft.
Nice mod tho :hiBUD:!

Can those (same size version) be placed on small ships too?
If not, please consider it. Many ppl (me included) love building large ships out of small blocks.
Admiral Daviour [JSSG]  [author] 12 Mar, 2015 @ 1:50am
I don't know how a porthole on a round block would work. I will add the 1x2 ramp to my to-do-list though.
