I got a nice heightmap for HK from that site, but im not a good map maker and it still needs a lot of manual love to make it look nicer and softer :)
But i mean at least it can help to lay out the basic coastlines and mountains, reducing the manual work needed.
Shanghai probably by hand as well, and might have to add in a small river just for the map to qualify as good for a start (otherwise half the buildable tiles will be in the ocean, not good).
For Qingdao do you want Jiaozhou Bay included? Or mainly just the peninsula?
Heightmap is limited to a 60km x 60km area so anything bigger has to be done by hand. :P
Yup seoul is on my list. :)
Here's a link for you so you can see what's going on. I'll edit it too with the info requested. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/255710/discussions/0/610574827758996946/
I'll work on Hong Kong for sure, that'd be fun. :) Qingdao once you let me know, and shanghai right after those. :P As well as Seoul once I figure out how I want to do it, big place it is.
1. Hong Kong, from the northern mountains near the border to Shenzhen down to the southern "The Peak", possibly as far west as to include the new airport island if possible.
2. Qingdao
3. Shanghai
4. Seoul!
