I like this map. It's amazing. Plains and islands, nature reserves, zoos and industrial zones can be built on some islands. It's amazing.

Has anyone managed to recreate the "Slussen" junction between Gamla stan and Södermalm? I can't find a smooth way to make it =/

@GolonkaSwe™ Also, it'd be really cool if you'd add more of the highways if you're going to redo them: Söderledstunneln (with the new update that has tunnels), Årstaunneln, Södra Länken, Huddingevägen, Dröttningsholmsvägen, etc. Just major highways that are yellow on Google Maps.

@GolonkaSwe™ I haven't found a workaround, but if you export the heightmap from the current map and import it in a new, European-themed map, it will save a lot of the work. You'd still have to do the highway, resources, and current though.

@Марк (Россия) I would like to update it to the new Euro theme, but I don't see how it's possible without restarting from scratch.
Unless there's a good workaround.

I find the scale is a bit too small for my liking (comparing to real life), but I'm assuming it's because you have limited heightmap resources. Also, can you update this to the new European style houses?

Map is very, very nice. Challenging start on island and interesting expansion to other islands.

If I may suggest something:

1. Try to crop buildable area in such way that all minor islands are inside of it in whole.
I was pretty sad when I unlocked al 25 tiles and found out that small island with ore (near ship connection) and one bigger above it (on first image) are outside of city limits.

2. I feel that more external train connections would be useful on this map.Maybe not whole lines, but just track ends inside buildable area.

@MrSmith Every map works the same. you need the 25 tile unlock mod to get them all, that unlocks 25 tiles for every map.

May i ask how big this map is? In terms of unlockable areas, are there 25 like in the pre build maps?

I think Your map has an awesome starting area, one of the best, not that my opinion is worth much. It worth a play on by anyone.

No Masen, it is somethng that can be adjusted by the map creator, as done here, it all involves knowing how to place the water invlux, sorry I can't think of the correct name, but they are used to fill lakes, they will create water flow if used properly.

@Ossaia I've updated it with stronger flow(only goes east now) and made sure the train is connected, it was only connected to one end. Thanks for reporting issues everyone!

Great map, I've been having fun planning my city. Few problems; the water flow needs to be more powerful. Second; the train line doesn't work properly. One end of the line ends before the map edge and doesn't lead to other cities so the trains won't export and import that way. Other way thankfully works, but the train line has much leff traffic than my other cities have.

It's an engine issue, Otoko. (As you already know since I spent ages explaining it to you...)

So , I had a great start to bad there's a but, but there is a but. the water stream flow in the starting area is horrid, it has one small section is really great but that tappers off so quickly that sewage hangs around and builds up, it will do that no matter where you place them at the start. If you put the drain pipe on the island the sewage actually will wrap around that island, if you place it at the end of the mainland it hangs around and builds up, eventually the people will sicken and die

Försökte själv bygga till Slussen men took för svårt, varför kunde inte du bygga den :P ? Vet att det måste vara jävligt avancerat att bygga, försökt själv i en timme men ger upp.. För det märks att du har taggigt lite genvägar där bla :)
