@roberto tomás Hi, thanks for your feedback. About your first point, if I were to make the map a little smaller, it would mean lesser playable land. Mapping out additional land outside Singapore isn't really important due to game restrictions that limit visibility outside the 25 tiles.

As to your second point, I apologize for not taking this point into consideration when creating this map. While all plants available in temperate maps are also available in tropical maps, it is not the same the other way round. The decision to go for a temperate climate then is more of a personal (colour) preference. If you wish for your city to have more of a tropical feel, you can always overwrite it by changing the default LUT in the settings menu. But if you want to add palm trees in your city in this map, unfortunately you have to wait until there's a way to change the map climate or when there are similar tree assets available in the workshop.

nice but .. there are two things right from the start.. the map could be a little smaller, so you at least get all of singapore proper, if not even a tiny bit of sumatra. Also, even more weird, the plants are all temperate. It should be tropical flora, like the rio map

@rlrh1996 Yeah I have. If you saw the island after you import the heightmap you'll realise why I didn't go ahead with using it as base. Their sources don't have enough data to build a nice clean and accurate map of SG without doing major touchups, and covering the whole island with a hilly terrain just isn't fun for building compared with a flat one with some hills. That's what I feel anyway.

Oh yeah, have you seen this tool called http://terrain.party? It generates heightmaps and I tried importing it into the map editor but got lost afterward.

@TITLE FIGHT??? Yeah I'm aware of that. In fact, for now, water does not flow anywhere else except to the right of the starting tile (as of v1.2), so your only absolutely clean source of water is from that river.

The water south of the starting point doesn't flow. Just putting that out there.

@rlrh1996 It's pretty inaccurate as my objective at that time was just to have land in all 25 tiles. The scale for this map is approximately 1:2.2. Thanks for your feedback though, I'll try to see if I can come up with a more true-to-scale one. Check back here in a few days :)

Hey, I would just like to ask how accurate is the scale of this map? The expressways seem a litttle too close to me. Could you make a true-to-scale one with the downtown core as the center (even though you can't see the whole island)?

@extrakun If you're building your city, the game restricts your view to only the starting tile and any of the subsequent tiles that you've unlocked and purchased.

How do I see the whole island in the game?
