This mod has a shortcut for that.

Removing just assigned key binding, for a command that you don't want to have any key shortcut anymore:
click in the field for the key and then click left and right mouse buttons simultaneously :D
I knew it was somewhere
This mod would be nice, something the developers should build into the game so we do not have to kill our achievements to use them.
For example, when I change the road tool mode to upgrade, I still need to select the road tool to then be able to select a street and upgrade it. I want it to automatically select road tool > select road tool upgrade mode.
I notice the other levels (tool and mode) have direct keys and a key to cycles between them, but the tabs only have a key to cycle up and down.
Also, can't seem to bind any of these actions to Mouse4 / Mouse5. I think that's a generic bug in the game itself (the extra buttons show up in the controls list but the game ignores them), but might be worth mentioning in the mod description, since I suspect a lot of people will want at least some of these commands on mouse buttons, and might think the mod isn't working when in fact it's just the game ignoring the buttons.

Could it be caused by some mod incompatibilities? Because i'm running over 20 mods and i'm to lazy to figure it out by myself :D
But I had a weird bug with Metro Lines, that it seems you have too. You need to select the train tracks before using the Metro LInes, if not the keyboards shortcut won't work.
Suggestion: If you could make one to allow hotkeys for assets, like buildings....you'd be the biggest hero ever! 5 stars!
