This amazing mod make me breathless... I love it... I cant live without anymore... I scared of the day, the support ends...
JR896 27 Jun, 2023 @ 1:53am
Strange... I'm not even subscribed to this mod and I keep seeing this FPS counter on my game and can never figure out how to remove it since pressing F8 doesn't work. lol

A very good lightweight mod. Especially for those that steam does not show fps like myself.
Murmelimauri 26 Jan, 2023 @ 4:30am
screw it still a good mod.
StayHungryStayFoolish 13 Feb, 2022 @ 6:08am

gud :steamhappy::steamthumbsup:
Nexxus 12 Aug, 2021 @ 9:56pm
Decent mod but font size is WAY to small at 4k, a slider to enlarge it would be greatly appreciated.
Also dunno if tagging works but @Aryeh I play with my steam controller in bed, and when you do so steam is forced into big picture mode and the FPS overlay doesnt work in big picture for...reasons.
kian.zarrin 17 Mar, 2021 @ 2:26am
maybe you should sub to FPS Booster
Chris6d 23 Dec, 2020 @ 10:05am
I had to unsubscribe because I was always getting depressed by seeing such a low number lol
CactusAW 25 Aug, 2020 @ 8:46pm
420???
Aryeh 19 Jul, 2020 @ 4:26pm
why not just use the steam-integrated FPS counter??
Quilava 30 Jun, 2020 @ 10:46am
this mod reports much lower fps than "Monitor It!" I'm assuming Monitor It is more accurate since this mod is so old
ThePetDetective 18 Dec, 2019 @ 2:41pm
@soundersbloke the graphics card is the most important part in having higher FPS. I use an RTX 2070 Super, no FPS problems. You might be having issues with the card, you might be using the integrated graphics card because the regular one isn't working.
akaSkipper 26 Jan, 2019 @ 9:49am
420;D
tdpurnell 30 Dec, 2018 @ 8:40am
@soundersbloke what graphics card do you use? I used to get the same problem but now i have a much better graphics card I always get 50 ish with 1000+ assets/mods loaded.
Mimeye 20 Aug, 2018 @ 12:24am
good:steamhappy:
soundersbloke 11 May, 2018 @ 10:34pm
HAHAHAH 40 fps. I've never gotten over 20
I have an i7 7700 CPU, 24 GB RAM, brand new desktop computer, no mods, no assets, low on everything, and I barely break 15 FPS.... so frustrating.
en3he 20 Feb, 2018 @ 5:57am
very good thank you
legodj16 12 Feb, 2018 @ 3:42am
or use steam overlay fps counter. still nice little mod
saintkhawnan 29 Jan, 2018 @ 4:03am
Why is this FPS around 10 different than the Post Process FX mod?
Banana_Time! 16 Jan, 2018 @ 12:12pm
now u made this. now you should make a mod that improves fps
Zlaayer 15 Jul, 2017 @ 12:27am
Great little mod, but one suggestion. I have another mod that uses F8 as the hotkey and neither mod allows the keybindings to adjust. Please add an option for different hotkeys. I have to choose this mod or the other one in current state, otherwise I never have a clean UI for screenies.
Code 3 Jul, 2017 @ 1:05pm
Go to Settings
Go to In-Game
At your left-middle side you will see In-Game FPS Counter
Your Welcome!
jjeff1955 2 Jun, 2017 @ 6:33pm
This Mod is excellent, nice to be able to see my Frame Rates. Works with Mass Transit.
I Voted Thumbs Up.
chris.hill.11heath 19 May, 2017 @ 5:02am
This seems to work with Mass Transit.
Bob 6 May, 2017 @ 9:40am
@daniel6550 except in Big Picture
Daniel6550 12 Mar, 2017 @ 4:04am
Steam displays FPS rate itself (it's configurable somewhere in Steam Preferences menu) :)
QC_IGA-Extra_Famille_SJ 1 Mar, 2017 @ 8:05am
is god this mod
FamilyMart Cashier 4 Feb, 2017 @ 8:37pm
I can have my fps display back now xD Thanks!
Te3-BloodyIron 16 Jul, 2016 @ 6:36pm
This mod does not work for me. I enabled it, and at the main menu, in options, there is no "FPS Display" key binding. When I load into a map, it shows up in the "Shared" keybinding section, but does not let me set a button, nor does it list a bound button. Pressing F8 does nothing. :(

Maybe an update broke something?
NodeJS 8 Apr, 2016 @ 2:20am
Steam's FPS-show sucks on HIGH-DPI, totally useless . This one helps
Marko 19 Feb, 2016 @ 2:55pm
steam has its own FPS counter, so this is kinda worthless now.
AquilaSol 18 Feb, 2016 @ 12:57pm
Works fine in Snowfall. (and the new update.) :)
Guy 4 Feb, 2016 @ 4:59pm
Wow It LOWERD my frams wow i proply ran on 55-65 pretty welll now i run 20-10 frams fix this
GordonDry 10 Jan, 2016 @ 8:01pm
It worked until yesterday, now:
NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
at FPSDisplay.Input.Start () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
RadonWill 10 Dec, 2015 @ 1:30am
Would be really ironic if this mod lowered FPS
QneManRiot 24 Nov, 2015 @ 1:27am
i got s shit laptop 2.6Ghz 4g of ram can you or anyone make a new mod for me so i can gat 60fps+ from a small-mid city i gat 10-20 fps on a tiny city
babyblue 12 Oct, 2015 @ 10:00am
some folks don't want the steam overlay (for good reasons, that is)...
but Fissll - the entry for the keymapping does not show up (for me?) - any idea? or is there some settings-file to edit manually? can't find any... :(
anyhow, thanks for the mod, very much appreciated!
Grynnoir 13 Jul, 2015 @ 11:07am
Why do people use this mod? There is a FPS-Counter built into the Steam Overlay that you can just enable in your Steam options...
milan227 1 Jun, 2015 @ 3:32am
wow I have 3.2 fps.. good that I ordered a new computer xD
Varana 21 May, 2015 @ 11:32am
now I want to know what is that 42.0 fps joke about XD
Stanik 21 May, 2015 @ 11:03am
thanks. but if you have less than 16GB RAM and bad graphic card you should avoid playing this game. really
Fissll  [author] 21 May, 2015 @ 10:16am
@Rubik
I made this mod because I don't have a high end machine and therefore can't run the game on maximum. The FPS Display helps you change the settings to have the best graphics with the wanted performance. I think that this should be obvious and in my opinion your comment is pointless.

@Varana
It's pretty obvious but I recommend you to use my mod because even though they are both very accurate, my mod gives you more freedom where to put it, it is better readable and you can toggle it with a single press of a keyboard button.
The game performance will never be noticeably affected by any FPS display.

@Honk
Finally someone who got the joke ^^.
Varana 21 May, 2015 @ 9:16am
what should I use? FPS Display mod? or the Steam option to display your current FPS? which one is more accurate? will displaying current FPS affect my game performance?
Stanik 21 May, 2015 @ 5:52am
why you need this mod? just to enjoy how your machine is fast or freezing?? pointless
NobleBarrel 20 May, 2015 @ 2:01pm
heh heh 42.0 fps
shiggies713 6 May, 2015 @ 1:36pm
Thanks Fissll, great job!
Fissll  [author] 1 May, 2015 @ 7:34am
Thanks @GumpNerd ... it's fixed now :D
Forrest_Gump 29 Apr, 2015 @ 12:40am
This is a good mod. Just wanted to say with the latest version of the game the fps counter doesn't appear to save its position anymore. Its always near the default chirper position now when I load a city (I prefer to keep it down in the bottom right area).
