If they'd be willing to design a similar device for their Mod.. i wish them luck and shall also recommend a VERY close inspection of our code (with its required resources) but we're not supporting other's "product". Ours is simply fully compatible with Civ5.. so we don't have any intentions to develop it further or to "work" for anyone else -- so to speak! :)
Thus -- i'd suggest contacting them, you may get lucky.
Thanks Arthur!
We'll see.
EUI already creates a generic button (double-arrows symbol) for ZN-Era... its shortcut name is "Era". There's also another quick way to access the Color-Wheel Menu for these, right-clicking on either the Turns or Date on the top right banner row.
And yes... i'm the guy that created each of these custom buttons for him. ;)
Would it be possible for you to make it fully compatible with EUI by adding the new Eras button to the top-right panel buttons in the EUI mod? I believe you contributed those buttons already to the EUI mod?
2) zArkham4269, There are already some code provisions in this mod to accomodate most "external mods" which would try to add anything to the various default features and items. For example, the Unique-Units that a few Civilizations get are correctly inserted and a tiny (*) is being shown on the Units Pod-Circle aside from the total number.
Thus... our code actually scans any related (or custom) files at run-time while adding whatever should to the proper stack(s).
We made every attempts to make "ZN-Era Popups" as much compatible with other mods as possible... but we just can't guess which or what extra "codes" created by someone else could interfere with our own stuff. I doubt much conflicts would creep up though.
So -- rest assured, you're in good hands while scanning for Info & Data on these screens!! ;)
