I really like what you're going for, but this is simply too simple. Try another one, maybe look at the FAMAS | Seargant skin for inspiration, as I think it would make this skin more complex and thus a bit more worthy of getting into the game.

Work with some diagonals and mix up shapes a bit more and the skin would look great.
