This is a lifesaver, great for ocean cargo hubs too!

I love this mod!!!!!!!!!!

Dude, Mr. Modder sir, at the end, can there be 2 floors? top and bottom? so 2 trucks can go in at once, and can you mod a cargo hub that can take 2 trucks at once? Cargo hubs are sooooooo slow.

Pretty pretty please?

I use this in a modified form to get double the effect. Since traffic doesn't seem to back up after the station I put the station at the very end of the loop instead of the pad in the middle. I then use two cargo stations and connect each one to the loop with its own highway ramp. The last tweak is upgrading the entire loop to 2-lane 1-way roads. This all gives the AI two destinations with two dedicated routes. So the trucks line up in both lanes the whole way. Having multiple routes back to the city or other destinations lets the traffic split up more after leaving the stations. It also helps to create a bypass route for cars and service vehicles so they don't get stuck in the loop. It's simple to block trucks from the bypass by running it through a small district with a heavy traffic ban.

This makes the traffic just flow a bit nicer. If the traffic backs up because of the cargo station then it doesnt stop other traffic from moving

This has quickly become one of my go to assetes. I cant build a cargo terminal without it.

For some reason I get one way arrows in the opposite direction (entry becomes an exit and vice-versa). When ever I place it - I have to manually change the directions to make it work as it should. Please help.

I think this sponge absorb 95% of truck traffic produced by cargo station and harbor.

Unbelievable.

You saved my city man. Thank you.

Saved my city no doubt :D. Standard feature in all my cities, consider it a must-have.

"As epic as this is, If you are going to make this much wasted space for a cargo train at least put TWO!!! my bigger industry areas take two cargo trains each with their one-lane road systems, the bottleneck is always waiting for the truck to leave the facility."

haha, i know what you mean there. i saw this thing posted and thought "hey there is a cool thing to try". i have cargo issues at 50k population and all with my industry everywhere :/

so i build me a slighly more compact one out of highway ramps with more overlapping under it. works ok for what it is, dont get me wrong. definitely better then a single road in and out. on my largest industrial yard though i have a cargo hub and a train yard so im using two of these sort of things and its still not enough to completely cut out all of it.

time to design a better "mouse trap".

Last night, my go go at the train cargo depos i saw this.... backed up the whole map. I quickly made a zig sag to soak up traffic, now i find this :D

Thumb up. Fascinating

Having one of these directly connecting my cargo terminals with a highway saved me lots of traffic headaches. Its fun to stare at too :)

Lapeti, its to get rid of the long line of trucks that want to go into the cargo terminal and then block your main avenue's right lane, now they have sort of waiting line for the terminal which can "buffer" a little instead of blocking the right lane. Helps alot in high density industrial/commercial areas.

It's 0-star cause it's only 2 days old...not enough people have starred it

I don't know why this has a zero star rating, its one of the most useful intersections on the workshop.
