from the description it sounds perfect, and in response to one of the author's comments, no you dont need infinite ammo. 15k rounds should be more than enough unless you just spray and pray. but for those that do just spray and pray there are other mods out there that give infinite ammo to all guns so its not needed in the weapon mod itself.

It works fine in single player campaign as well as LAN. Make sure you deconflict your mods in the add-ons prior to playing as well as restarting the game after you download a mod.

OK, so I disabled the infinite ammo mod...and it didn't work. Then I entirely unsubscribed from EVERYTING but....and it still doesn't work.

As a side note, the M-60 Mk II has 15,000 rounds.15,000 rounds on top of explosive, belt fed, high-rate-of-fire death and destruction. Do you really need to have the infinite ammo as well?

Infinite ammo mods interfere with every gun mod out there. Disable it and any other mod that alters weapon stats in general and you won't have any issues.

I can't get this mod to work. I have no other M-60 mod installed and the few other mods I have don't seem to be ones to interfere -- unless this mod is incompatible with infinate ammunition mods? Can someone please help?

That would seem to make sense as weapon data (Which player arms and what weapon model to use) is loaded by both client and server. I think the "Terror-specific data" which consists of weapon damage, penetration number of layers, recoil values, etc are loaded from the server to the client and if for some reason a client had an interuption, it would probably fall back to the default values.but I may be wrong.

Alright, thank you for the help; a ouple of my friends have run into similar errors, and I think I know what's happening at least for us: we have a pretty bad internet connection, and the 'stock weapons' issue seems to coincide with us losing internet connection, leaving us solely on LAN connection.

Xavius, I have only run into the stock 60 error once and a restart corrected this. I am not sure what the error was as I have been unable to duplicate it.

I have created a new, default skin M-60 Mk II secondary slot available for use with custom skins. Keep in mind if you have another weapon pack or mod that alters the M-60, it may conflict with this one.

Xavius, I have just redownloaded the M-60 mod to make sure the upload wasn't corrupt. I have no issues using the 60 in conjunction with my other secondary mods. They all swap nicely in and out of the secondary slot mwith no problems. Make sure you haven't got any other weapon mod packs that modify the M-60. This M-60 mod does use customized textures so something as simple as a texture for a 60 may override this mod.

If you have another M-60 mod or a mod pack that has another 60 in it, it may be conflicting. I'll check it out later today if I remember.

Heya, something broke with this one; it's only giving the normal M60 stats and is a primary weapon. I have unsubbed and resubbed to the mod twice to check, and it just doesn't seem to be working. I love this mod (it makes Survival maps a bit easier for my group) and if there's any other info you need to figure this out or give suggestions for me to fix it (if it's on my end) feel free to ask. Thank you again for making this mod, and for being so responsive as of late!

I'm only grabbing the Uzi and Mac11 sidearms, but the whole thing is really awesome
I was thinking about maybe taking the hunting and military SRifles as secondaries, but the group I play with voted against it. Still, thank you so much making these~!

Also, the one and only problem I've had so far with your mods is that the shotguns kill anyone/thing in front of you when you pull the trigger, and the Combat and Spas are instant no-recovery kills to your allied players. Still, awesome mod set, and thank you so muh for making these!

REMEMBER TO DECONFLICT MODS AND DISABLE CONSISTENCY CHECKS (i.e. sv_consistency 0) if multiple players use different weapons. I would not recommend using more than one or two at most at a time. Remember, these will move the selected weapon to a secondary slot, removing it from the primary slot.
If you are subscribed to one of my Mk II mods, you need to disable that in your mods as all of these are Mk II variants.

@SHOOT ME As a word of warning: this mod has a customised skin on it. If you are familiar with skinning for L4D2 this should not pose much of an issue and in some cases may make it easier to do but just be careful or you may break the mod, and good luck.

It works. It doesn't place M-60's in the game, they are still as difficult to come across as a normal M-60. What it does is make the standard M-60 more powerful with more ammo and it allows you to carry it as a secondary weapon instead of having to drop your customised primary weapon for a short 150 round weapon.

That would require a lot of new animations that don't exist in the game and I don't do a lot of L4D or L4D2 much nowadays. I do still support my mods but I spend most of my time on Warframe.

@The iron giant: If you come across an M-60 in-game, you can elect to drop your normal secondary weapon and carry the M-60 as a secondary. If you are not familiar with the game, normally the M-60 is a primary slot weapon. Ammo and destructive power have been increased on this.

This is one of my most favorite mods in game. thanks for doing this. XD I do have arequest if your open to them, I would do it myself but am not able to at this time.

but would you be willing to create a script that just adds to the ammo count and increases the fire rate just like you did for this special beast of a weapon. It would be an incredible script perfect for the MG42 weapon skin. Keep up the great work sir.
