You mention that your mod is compatible with Civ IV Leader Traits mod. It seems though that The Saxony has no traits whatsoever. It would be nice if you could change that. Maybe the traits Philosophical/Protective/Spiritual would fit :)

Saxony was one of the first countries in Germany, who arrived the industrialization. In time after the second worldwar, Chemnitz(german Manchester) was the primal node of production in the DDR. And yeah because of Wittenberg Saxony was important for the reformation but today nobody believe really to god.

Saxony just interested me, so i dunno.

I suppose Saxony did fight at the Battle of Leipzig(on both sides), so this version would go well with JFD's Louis XIV mod, which changes Napoleon from a culture civilization into a militaristic one. Do you plan to do anymore German states or just Saxony?

That's the idea

I've decided to begin work on the Electorate of Saxony, which will be focused more around art and culture (as well as Meissen porcelein, since it so popular). Saxony's Palaces, Castles and Gardens are very famous as well.

Since Meissen porcelein has been a popular request, i may work on a secondary Saxony civ. This was a Napoleonic Wars style civ. Plus, Saxons were one of the first to make Skirmishing an army wide tactic and stop lining up.

Why no meissen porcelain (first porcelain outside of china) or baroque palace as building (thx lightsentinel for the proposal)? The army of Saxons was to weak and meaningless... but i love Saxons and you are the first who are to implement - thx!

That would of been interesting. But i want for a military theme, because of their history in the napoleonic wars.

I would have themed either the countries bonus or one of its unique units/buildings around this instead http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meissen_porcelain
