found out what it was. a glove mod I used left some stuff behind in my insurgency folder, permanently (unless I fix it) leaving me with stock oakley gloves as my unmodded Security viewmodel. very cool glitch to be honest. I like the oakley better than the stock gloves. this mod works fine otherwise

some reason this mod gave me Oakley gloves with a green tinge, instead of the blue seen in the screenshot. very odd. maybe i have a hidden conflicting mod, but i couldn't find it in my subscriptions to remove. i'll just use another glove mod on top for this to match the gloves

They are part of the mod, just reskinned the view models to match the player models too. Or do you mean what was my inspiration for the gloves?

Yeah, it looks aight. I'm in the Navy so I see it all the time. We always joke about how dumb/impractical it is, but in the beginning most of us thought it looked pretty sweet (at least compared to what we had worn before). Good job and thanks for making the mod regardless, I may just install it

I mean, the camo isnt really meant to be functional. The mod was a request from a friend, and I made it for him. I personally like the blueberry camo, I think it looks pretty cool.

You are extremely wrong. I dont know where you get your information, but I did not make this mod to have a constant flame war over which armed forces is superior. Its very common for the Navy to fight on the ground.

That's a contradiction in itself. You cant have both the word "hardened veteran" and "USN" in the same phrase unless you mean "Haredened veteran inside the united states navy"
