I have submitted the revised ship to the workshop with credit being given to you. I'm not sure on how to share the link, however you can find it on my profile page as the C.S.M.V Horizons Edge

CaveDweller 4 Sep, 2020 @ 8:11pm
My apologies Ramalis, it was not the Phoenix Dawn that I had revised, it was the Anatolia. Do I still have your permission to share it?
CaveDweller 4 Sep, 2020 @ 3:58pm
np =). Have a good day and thank you very much for all the wonderful creations you've contributed. They make the game a lot more enjoyable.

Thats ok with me cave thanks for asking
CaveDweller 4 Sep, 2020 @ 3:16pm
Hello Ramalis, I believe I came across your ship (or at least something that looked almost exact) in a mod pack. I believe it was the Reddit custom encounters). I made some personal changes to it and would like to share it with the community, is that ok?

Beautiful ship still works well although u can tell it was made before the decor pack. this ship is easily upgradeable to hydrogen thrusters while keeping the look mainly the same. you just have to get into the blocks and find the conveyors which for most areas are easy to install. The interior the crator has added is also just as easy to update with the new decor pack as well.

ya ive got an updated one that fixes that and a bug with the airlocks where i forgot to turn a convvayer tube around.
Charnul 29 Oct, 2015 @ 10:17am
Really nice ship!, just a problem; in the hangar bay you probably forgot to turn off symetry when placing one of the new doors, it deleted a block (probably a pipe) and replaced it by a door, otherwise really nice ship, would be great with hydrogen thrusters to land on a planet...

@Aulex, its simple really, instead of telling the timer block to start, (like the guild says) tell it to trigger Now, its a bit more Cpu heavy but i think its worth it.

@Squid thanks man, i know the hanger is small, im a very practical and minimulistic builder, and you can up the sensor range if you wish I just wanted close so your not running the guild every time a small ship just passes by.

This is a beautiful ship. I can see the high amount of effort you put into this, Titus. My only criticism is that the hangar is a bit cramped, but I guess a small hangar is better than none! This is nit-picking; from what I see, your ship lacks any major faults. Great job.
PS I think the holographic dock assist is a wonderful idea that I've never seen on SE before. I think the sensor range is a bit low to activate this, but a low range may be a good thing to keep, to reduce possible lag.

This ship is absolutely awesome! Very very well made and excellent design! How did you achieve to programm the LCDs in the main bridge to supply real time data? Its epic!
Keep up the good work!

thank you Ray, i put a lot of time in her glade you like it

Ok. Ok! I just got started using the Exploration Enhancement mod and this shop pops up on my sensors. I took one look at her and decided I wanted it, in tact. I approached it, saved and logged off. I went to SEToolbox and changed the ownership and deleted all of the damn police who showed up. She's a beautiful ship. Here's my new trading ship!

Found a small slightly annoying problem.
I keep getting blown away from the automated interior door in the hangar. I left the door behind it open on the way out and the depressurization keeps blowing me away whenever i trigger the door sensor (even when hangar airlocks were closed)

The ship is coming up as a small ship on the projector?
Talolza 2 Apr, 2015 @ 8:25pm
Thanks! Found it helpful but i cant find any ships to use the docking with. Any on the workshop?
Ramalis  [author] 2 Apr, 2015 @ 5:41pm
Projector, its a holographic docking guild,
its made to help you line up with the hanger.
Talolza 2 Apr, 2015 @ 4:13pm
Whats the glowing under the ship?
Ramalis  [author] 31 Mar, 2015 @ 5:59am
If I find any that I feel are note worthy I will let you know, may I ask what got you to subcribe to The Dawn in the first place?
HisHoliness_PatriarchHilariusXIX 30 Mar, 2015 @ 9:40pm
Tidus,

As of the moment, I haven't reviewed anything else to similar detail. I plan to continue doing similar reviews but preferably to ships that haven't become popular on the workshop yet or particularly good ones. As you may imagine, combing the workshop for such treasures is tedious and yields few note worthy creations. When I do another, I'll be sure to shoot you a link. It would also be my pleasure to evaluate any creations you might be able to recommend :)
Ramalis  [author] 30 Mar, 2015 @ 8:26pm
Thank you felix, may I ask if your doing this as a review for other ships as well I would like to see what, others you may have reviewed, and yes I know my spelling is off I type to fast for my own good most times :D

Review and Suggestions

Interior wise, its realistically cramped. Don’t get me wrong, cramped isn’t bad. The Dawn is comfortably cramped. Allowing good movement and easy enough on the eyes when on long treks. It’s the large cathedral like interiors on other ships that I’ve come to hate, a frivolous waste of space. This vessel wastes no square meter. The auto lighting made me smile. The little things matter.

The holographic guidance system is a helpful touch, along with the warning sounds and sirens. As I said, incredibly convenient. My only complaint with the docking setup is that the connectors are difficult to couple with (using a standard setup for small ships)

TLDR: You can use in survival, looks good, no mods (hell yeah), its really cheap to make, APAT needs to fix the brakes and connectors, but it’s the best damn survival ship out there. Props to you APAT, have a space potato :)

P.S check spelling pls. is it Pheniox or Phoenix?
HisHoliness_PatriarchHilariusXIX 28 Mar, 2015 @ 11:44pm
Praise for APAT

5/5 Marvelously Practical! ~Galactic Top Gear

4 Stars- It’s like a Volvo… But in space! ~Ship&Pilot Magazine

Utilitarian, Practical, not reliant on mods. It’s a ship after my own heart. A no-frills survival-feasible ship capable of performing and looking respectable, slim and elegant at the same time, this vessel proves that simplicity is truly the highest sophistication.

The Dawn sits as my current favorite on the free market as an entry-level, exploration ship equipped with just about everything a spacer needs while at the same time being equipped with incredibly simple but convenient systems.
