wow.. 2000 people in 65 buildings?

Had to look at the real one on Google Maps for it to make sense... this is really only half of the interchange, with the two southern parts woven together through a series of over/underpasses, and what looks like a parclo in the middle where an arterial road goes overhead.

LOL @ that description...:steamhappy:

I love your interchanges.
Seems like quite a few of them are missing the preview icon in the game?

This is great to merge into highways from 45 degree or so directions into a C/E system.
shadowwolftjc 20 Sep, 2019 @ 11:38am
By the way, what nickname do the locals have for this interchange?

Alternatively, one of those two pairs of roads could be used for frontage road systems that allow parallel-moving arterials to connect to the main highway via interchanges like thos or the basketweave.

Since one of those two pairs of roads could serve as a feeder road for a high traffic district, I wonder what other 3-way and 4-way interchange ideas could be brainstormed where one side ends with two parallel-running pairs of roads that are ideal for use within a collector-distributor system.

Really cool, just what I need :).

PS : Am I the only one who don't have picture in game for this intersection ?

Am I the only one that wants to combine this with Timboh's basket weave just because? :p

12 lane highway? How busy is your city?
Lucha 19 May, 2015 @ 12:06pm
This is an amazing intersection.
I connected the four highway roads to 6 lane, one way roads, completing my 12 lane highway! :D

Ich war einfach auf der Suche nach einer Schwebebahn, aber dann bin ich über diese Schönheit gestolpert.

Schön was aus der Heimat zu sehn, auch wenn es "nur" ein Autobahnkreuz ist. :-)
missing95 3 Apr, 2015 @ 4:50am
WuppWuppWUPPERTAL :D

I placed this, having found a spot for its use to be perfect - but you obviously live in a left-hand traffic part of the world so I had to perform a spaghetti weave with my normal highway to connect it to this. It was overall amusing and now I can only laugh.

Ich liebe mein Wuppertal <3

Cities Skylines/Euro Truck Simulator crossover anyone? Think it would be amazing.

hi
LordPimberley 29 Mar, 2015 @ 6:25pm
Having travelled through Wuppertal dozens of times, this intersection is a must. If there's one thing I miss about Nordrhein-Westfalen it's the Autobahns and intersections, thank you for letting me live vicariously through your work! :D
Henry Fonda 29 Mar, 2015 @ 7:37am

Most beautiful interchange I had ever the pleasure of driving on. Especially during autumn when coming from Düsseldorf.

thanks for making it available here
