If your talking about the default hl2 357 revolver, type in st weapon weapon_357.
you can copy and paste a weapon ID by going to the menu, right clicking on a weapon, and copying to the clipboard! CTRL + V in order to paste it incase you dont know.
but ofc its pretty legit and fun..!
10/10 would rage again
please help!!!
Maybe st_weapon wheatleysparkour?
Though, bots in GMod are pretty much useless.
Maybe it reads a book or something until players come online, I don't know.
Since you normally can't see them through walls you won't notice this but when you do it can be pretty confusing. I don't know how or even if I can change this.
I noticed the same thing in other source games so I think it's the engine.
I'm gonna look up the halo bug as soon as I can. For the UI, I don't know. I never looked into vgui scripting and its completely new to me. I'll maybe look it up after fixing the halo bug. I've never made any multyplayer heavy scripts due to my inability to test them and low knowledge.
That the tags only works with damaging guns comes from my very low scripting expeirience. It was the easiest method to make it dynamic without being too complex for me. Though some weapons, such as prop guns, are pretty much impossible since many of them don't reconize who shot them.
I'll do my best. Thanks again. :)
Though I have to go to bed now. :c
The only multiplayer bug I found is that other players can't see the glow if st_halo is on. Only I, as the host, was able to see their halo's through the walls when I was it, but they couldn't see me.
All I can really suggest is to polish up the gamemode a little. Maybe a UI for the host rather than having to look up this page for the commands, maybe some form of collision detection so that weapons that damage aren't the only things that can tag other players.
Other than that, this gamemode is easily one of the best I've ever played. Keep up the good work
