add function to move the button location so it doesn't interfere with my fine roads tool?
Bobr ♠ 24 Jul, 2020 @ 3:26pm
works great
Putzilla 26 Dec, 2018 @ 12:21pm
It is broken. As soon as i got it my city could no longer make roads to zone with and unsubscribing didnt fix it. Also it replaces the button for controling road elevation steps and that sucks balls.

@zajcom: Zoning toolset (toggle + upgrade tool) by Arch Angel

Any alternative mode we can use?
BTAxis 24 Oct, 2018 @ 8:27am
No, it doesn't work anymore.
Arch_Angel 408sj 17 Oct, 2018 @ 12:43am
is this mod still working?
Stealthy 21 Jun, 2018 @ 7:41am
Maybe because this is 3 years old and hasn't been supported for that time either? How about not use this?
Jimmy 6 Jun, 2018 @ 6:29pm
the fact this removes the elevation step button is really unbelievably annoying. why?
Jorxan 30 Jun, 2017 @ 8:29pm
any one know a mod to get unlimeted zoneing if you do please tell me
gustavoheiden 30 Jun, 2017 @ 8:39am
There is a button for Elevation, but Toggle Zoning is in front of it.
Is it possible to move "Toggle Zoning" button??

Here's a image of the issue: https://postimg.org/image/kt490gg25

If you want to use this mod functionality, use one of these mods instead: Zoning toolset OR NoPillars
patrioticparadox 2 Jun, 2017 @ 1:55pm
@Elias can you post a link to that mod, please?
Korlac11 22 May, 2017 @ 7:54am
Just a note to anyone who wants this mod: It doesn't do anything anymore.
Elias 1 Feb, 2017 @ 3:42pm
@ all who have issues with this: the author doesn't seem to be interested in this mod/this game anymore. but the "no pillars"-mod by bloodypenguin (beware: there is an abandoned original version of "no pillars") offers the same feature and even can force zoning to highways. try it out.
Bobbystrahler 21 Jan, 2017 @ 1:28am
Nice Mod. But I have the same problem that I cannot use it since I installed Fine Road Tool Mod. Please fix this. I need your mod often :(
Tri 23 Nov, 2016 @ 8:27am
It's not lost. It's overlapped by the Fine Road Tool button...
Duff 18 Sep, 2016 @ 8:04pm
I'm having the same issue as Caloric. Added Fine Road Tool and loss your zoning tool. :/
Caloric_Fibre 20 Jun, 2016 @ 1:46pm
I love this mod. It solves a lot of my planning issues. However, if I activate Fine Road Tool, which allows height increments of 1m, the button for Toggle Zoning disappears. Since I don't know where the problem originates, I am advising both you and SamsamTS, and am hoping that one of you will figure out how both mods can be used at the same time. Thanks.
PandaWaffles 14 May, 2016 @ 8:58pm
What Seraphin said, the button for elevation steps poofs when this is enabled
»qwertアンドルー 25 Apr, 2016 @ 1:07pm
awesome thanks
Vercinger 30 Mar, 2016 @ 3:00pm
@ramrom If you have roads connecting at an awkward angle, they'll make weird shaped zones that are pretty much guaranteed to not be fully utilized as they increase the total number of buildings (which increases policy costs) while decreasing the number of occupied tiles. A similar thing usually happens around 90 degree intersections, with some buildings facing one road and some the other, resulting in a larger number of smaller buildings and sometimes a few tiles left empty. This mod gives you the ability to deal with all that.
Seraphin 25 Mar, 2016 @ 12:29am
Will this one be updated to CS 1.4?

If it's active, there is no button to change the elevation steps of roads ...
ramrom 27 Feb, 2016 @ 2:11pm
I'm curious. What difference does it make? Can't you just choose to not zone there?
Does this mod make the game behave differently or something?
Arch Angel 7 Jan, 2016 @ 6:02pm
An alternative/extention of this mod: Zoning toggle + zoning upgrade tool[/url0
MaxPower 8 Dec, 2015 @ 2:22am
Does this mod still work in 1.2.2?
BloodyPenguin 13 Aug, 2015 @ 2:48pm
Added toggle zoning functionality to my fixed version of NoPillars . It has forced zoning for highways too!

@Jakaya That fixes your issue hopefully :)
Siywill 13 Aug, 2015 @ 11:13am
...and with Traffic++, as far as I can see...
Siywill 13 Aug, 2015 @ 11:11am
Works good with 1.1.1c.
Jakaya 9 Aug, 2015 @ 8:39am
great mod too many incompatibilities doesn't seem to play nice with no pillar, traffic ++ i would like the trio :C
templeofdoom 5 Aug, 2015 @ 12:58pm
Is this mod compatible/working with 1.1.1c?
Bur Duke 23 Jul, 2015 @ 2:20pm
Супер полезная вещь! Странно что её нет в оригинальной игре
Skeptik 8 Jun, 2015 @ 12:51pm

Nice, If recall same thing happens when use terraforming tool around non zoned areas then make room with it to expand the area around the road, yet then need to rebuild a sector of road to have it zone the newly opened area... Look forward to enabling this for advancement
bltzn 28 May, 2015 @ 5:20pm
do you have the source code?
zyrtwo 22 May, 2015 @ 10:31am
Quick test to check compatibility w/1.10c. Worked for me on new map, new game. Only created and tested on a few roads.
zyrtwo 19 May, 2015 @ 7:43pm
@Timmiej93—Yeah, I can't zone anything on a road that was placed with "overlap" on. Hoping that this mod works with the update, this mod is one of the most useful ones that I use.
Timmiej93 25 Apr, 2015 @ 5:40am
Do you guys perhaps have the no pillars mod as well? I've noticed that zoning get's completely screwed over when you place a road that's "overlapping" or whatever it's called.
zyrtwo 14 Apr, 2015 @ 8:38am
Actually I'm thinking that my issue might be a conflict with Traffic++ which I enabled recently and affects zoning as well.
zyrtwo 14 Apr, 2015 @ 8:09am
@Lord Charles—I'm having the same problem. I've been using the mod with no problems for a while then this started happening recently as I was doing alot of terraforming in my city.
H4Z1 10 Apr, 2015 @ 6:49am
I think this mod Is somewhat incompatible with No Pillars mod.... It unzones a specific type of road i even if you toggled it to zoned and vice versa... I tried disabling the No pillars mod when I did it and your mod works perfectly fine
Lord Charles 9 Apr, 2015 @ 2:42am
I'm guessing this mod is bugged but I have no way to confirm unfortunately. After a while it creates zones on roads, Creates unzoned roads even when it is set to zoned. Is it just me, or is this happening to others as well?
Fsac 8 Apr, 2015 @ 8:23am
Although this mod does exactly what is described, my experience with it was that, if you are using it to try and force Cims to build only along a specific side of the roadway (e.g. keeping houses faced away from main thoroughfares) you will be left disappointed. I built a rectangular roadway 4x12 tiles in area, three sides of which were toggled to not generate zoning tiles, while the final was. One of the first houses to pop up was facing opposite the road that had zoning enabled.

That said, there are still a couple of other narrow uses for this mod which warrant it's existence.
BiG-♥♥♥ 6 Apr, 2015 @ 4:23pm
yeah, this is realy a great mod. is it possible to mod it one sided aswell?
