Does one of these options make the laser-beams green? If so, which one? Also, is this compatible with Wake of the Heralds? Thanks :D I just want me some imperial-green lasers a la star wars, lol :)

Well it's pretty easy to see which file was broken when you look at which weapons are shooting error textures :P

The Railgun Projectiles should be fixed now. If not just tell me here, for me everything works fine. Thanks to draco1thedragon for finding out wich file was broken, I dont had time to fix this sooner sorry :c

Projectiles.txt needs to be updated in order for this mod to resume working. If the author doesn't mind, I can upload a fixed version and link it here until he gets back and is able to resume work on it. I may even decide to add a few more colors if I should do this.

btw, after i completed this. I closed the game out and restarted it!! Worked GREAT for me!!! Hope it works for whoever tries it!!

Here is my solution. Obv I enabled the mod first. Then went to edit mod. Then to open directory. I copied and pasted ONLY the projectile.txt file from the original game files in Steam/steamapps/common/Star Ruler 2/data/effectors to the open directory effectors file. Basically just replaced the projectiles.txt from this mod with the one from the original game files. U lose the changes this mod made to rail gun. However, it got rid of the pink and black boxes!!!

The Doctor- Same. I have had some railgun texture issues as well.

Otherwise, I really like the mod. They really do need more colors in this game. Good work thus far, please notify me when the railgun issue is fixed!

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope things get better for you.

If I get a chance, I'll dig into modding to see what's going on. Although I haven't done my own mods—only derivatives for personal use, and only then back in Space Empires V—if I can figure out a fix I'll send it your way.

I'm also having the purple squares issue with railgun projectiles when using this mod. Wompfbeere, will there be a fix?

No wait, all railguns are doing this, regardless of colour - must be a texture reference that has an error.

Might it be that Skin 2's second colour value for the projectile trail is missing a 0 off the end? It's only a 7-character colour there compared to the others at 8.

Sadly I'm getting some weapon art (the railguns, I believe) showing up as huge purple squares reminiscent of the 'missing texture' appearance in many engines. At least, using the orange weapon effects, anyway.

Purple missiles still have a missing texture, as well as a few others. Any fix?

You also need to create new particle effects for weapon explosions. (I'm noticing you used the same ImpactFlareLaser variant for each of the non-red lasers, and a similar pattern exists in your railguns.) This can be done via the ingame particle editor.

To access the particle editor, start a game (the mod editor and sandbox also count as playing a game) and type "particle_editor" into the console. A new tab will open, containing the particle editor.

It's not the most user-friendly of tools, but...

@Crisscross and anyone else who has issues with this mod,
i already got a patch but the workhop doesn´t want to apply it to the mod,
instead its re-uploading it :/

If anyone has a sollution for this, write it here, otherwise ill try to fix it myself,

The colors don't seem to to work for me, I've tried several of them and no matter what I always seem to get red beams, orange missiles and blue railguns. The only exception so far has been the color red, which gives me yellow beams, purple missiles, and blue railguns. Anyone else having an issue like this?

i have a random color problem with the weapon colors, i choose yellow..i become red.. My "WC" is everytime different as the choosen one.

with this mod and witout this mod, any knows what is wrong ?
