Yes I know....

You want to use the same instructions method to resolve the problem with Iron Europe (IE). If you crash at multiplayer menu and you downloaded it from the Steam workshop do the same folder move and rename but this time rename it to Iron Europe.

That is because you have additional instructions to follow. Follow these instructions below and follow all the steps not just the first:

~~~ TO INSTALL ON STEAM WORKSHOP ~~~
1. Click Subscribe to start downloading the mod. Then wait for the download to finish before proceeding.

2. Open Windows Explorer to browse your computer's file directory. (It's a light colored folder icon on the taskbar)

3. Navigate to this path: (C:) -> Program Files (x86) -> Steam -> SteamApps -> workshop -> content -> 48700

4. Move the folder (546946065) from '48700' folder to \Modules folder inside the Mount & Blade Warband Steam folder: (C:) -> Program Files (x86) -> Steam -> SteamApps -> common -> MountBlade Warband -> Modules

5. Rename the mod folder from (546946065) to (War of 1812) exactly as typed, do not include the parentheses in the mod folder name or you cannot join any servers.

6. Launch Warband and select War of 1812 in the drop-down menu. The preview icon should display.
