But there are plans to change this (you can select a dat file mod then if you are the match creator - all other players will get the mod automatically - like with scenarios). This is to avoid desyncs. I just don't know if it is already implemented.
With the old system, the mod was then 'installed' on the games startup. This needs some time, mostly it's enough to not cancel the intro. Then it will appear ingame.
With the new system (beta branch) the mod doesn't work for now for it's still part of the old mod system (It's shown in the mod manager as legacy mod and red). But upgrading mods to the new system doesn't work with the current beta branch. This will be fixed soon.
If you had a subscription before, it was overwritten by this mod, unsubscribe from the pussywood mod, verify your game cache and resubscribe to it.
Genial
Greetz / Saludos
It also works with every other graphics mod out there, just keep in mind that in case another mod changes the same files (road packs for example), you need to subscribe to them after this mod to be used ingame and overwrite thos specific content from this mod (without using my mod manager).
AoE doesn't support complete uninstallation of mods on it's own, you have to do it manual (in this case, delete GOLDM_NN/N0.slp and STONM_NN/N0.slp from AoE2\data\slp), or use my mod manager.
Second - this behavior you actually have with most mod content (campaigns, scenarios, rms, taunts(100+), soundtracks(20+), all non-terrain graphics, ...).
This is for HiddenPath didnÄt implement anything to uninstall mods.
What the recommended to use (game cache verification) isn't thought to do this, but reset orginal game files - what it does.
But additional files (aslisted above) aren't touched and have to be removed manually.
So for now, you need to delete these additional files by hand, or can use my mod manager to install mods - this enables you to really uninstall them later (beside much more).
And yes, this mod does include additional files.

- I would have thought there'd be great announcements in case AoE4 would be in development.
- If there'd be a beta - same as above and the'd have to be worked on it for some time then...
- Why should my AoE2 mod be a fake in case it would apply to AoE3 (which it doesn't) when you try to use it in a third game?
So beside the way the steam workshop works, making it impossible a mod uploaded for one game can mod another one without manual manipulation of files, in this case there are even more things making your comment impossible. Like AoE3s file structure, the files names, ...
For that reason and no further response from your side a decided to classify it as trolling and therefore deleted it so no one gets confused about it.
In case I'm wrong and you really do have any problem with installing/using this mod, please feel welcome to describe what you did and what happened so I can try to help you. :)
But like much other content, berry bushes are changed by adding new files instead of changing default ones. This means they will never be removed automatically.
To do so, you have to delete FORAG_NN.slp from AoE\data\slp, or to use my mod manager to install mods - then you can really delete them also using it. :)
