@Nicogalax
Thank you for your faith in my modding skills..
but nowadays I dont even know how to update my own mods :pandastunned: ..
without reading my own hints posted *above*.

If you are really interested in changing the driving speed of vehicles you should try modding the game yourself(no offense).
A good start to do so will be finding the corresponding *.h file with something like "rover" in the file name.
Of course you wont find it in the "entities" folder I presume ;)
Sorry.

Hello! Your mods work perfectly well and it is convenient and easy to use, thank you! May I ask you a favor please? Can you do a little mod that would make faster rover, because it's really long to go through Mars ... Can you roll them between 30 and 50 Km / H And if you have neither the time nor the want to do the 3 can you just do the big rover please?!?!

have always used this mod, nvr anything else, tyvm for this, supreme time saver.....

@Nytmaster
Finally I found the reason of your crash..
The reason:
Stupid modder did NOT noticed change in "machine_resourceetank.h" for a year..
Shame to me. Sorry!!

But somehow I am innocent, i swear! :D
I was unable to produce those errors myself, as they only appeared in multiplayer games.

Fixed!

Thanks

Tried it just a minute ago:
It is still working ;)
Rage_D_Kid 4 Dec, 2016 @ 5:38am
Are you still modding or will these mods NOT work...
DHLF  [author] 21 Aug, 2016 @ 9:29am
A graphic-driver issue kept me away from ToM for some minutes -.-

I just checked the mod and it works as expected.
Do you "opted-in" into the development branch?

Do you got an update "lately" (today?)?
I have not got an update for ToM within the last 2 days. So I will have to wait for those problematic update to find a solution.
Nytmaster 21 Aug, 2016 @ 7:05am
Some reason with new patch mod crashes the game for right now i had uncheck mod. Will there be update for this mod which is very awsome mod.
Sinner_D 30 Aug, 2015 @ 8:44pm
I meant "Left right or forward"
Sinner_D 30 Aug, 2015 @ 8:43pm
well its untested, but I was able to achieve the seed object for one of the inital tanks by much hassle getting it upright onto the forklift tongs, however for a single man mission its impossible, but yes I'm 100% certain if the forklift were backed up when the seond player clicked to seed tank, and the forklift cleared in time, the tank would seed.

If you could find some way to make the seeding motion of the seeding proccess do "go 3' to the left, right, or down, then down + seed" in a mod, that would make the forklift solution a one man job.
DHLF  [author] 30 Aug, 2015 @ 12:22pm
@Sinner_D
Interesting!
When I was facing those issue I was unable to find a solution other than to mod it.
Your idea of corporate work did really worked?

So thats may be the reason why Dram never fixed it :steamhappy:

Sinner_D 29 Aug, 2015 @ 5:16pm
i wouldnt mind this to as you said "Fix the manned moon tanks" but otherwise, the weight thing is an element of the game id prefer remain...you know for realism n all.

If this mod somehow fixed said tanks so that when carrying them with a forklift, that they would properly clear the forklift when attempting to seed to the ground, then I'd be sold.

P.S. forklift nearly solves manned moon tanks prob, if you had 2 people playing one to backup the forklift quickly, it would also solve the initial tanks issue.

@Reverent Machine
Sorry for answering so late..
To give all wanna-be-modders an easier start I added some information in the description above.
I hope it may help ;)

Anyone know where the config file is for the item weights? Been looking through the files for hours and can't find one.
DHLF  [author] 17 May, 2015 @ 2:26pm
Maybe this not assembled ressource tank IS intentional.. to force people to try those modding?
Nevertheless: again thank you to the developers of this great game to let us.. modify it ;)
RainmakerLTU 17 May, 2015 @ 6:34am
Actually almost everyone having some basic knowledge in all this software could possible do the mod. But some ppl are or too lazy, or don`t have time, or not pissed enough at the game which don`t work like they want. So I thank to our author and all other modders for being not lazy, curious and talented. There are few games which should send some profit to modders, because game`s "life" can be prolonged much longer with certain successful mods, overhauls and conversions.
DHLF  [author] 17 May, 2015 @ 3:19am
Thanks @all for thanking me ;)
Its just a modification to keep virtual life easier.

After playing some hours I noticed some tanks were misplaced.
Bad luck they were already filled with stuff and moving them to another place was impossible.
Or would have taken MORE time than I had already played so far..

As the wiki about modding still not exists I had to be VERY angry to spend the time to find out how things work with those "modding".
Nevertheless its a surprisingly interesting game and thanks to those developers who made it ;)
verjigorm 16 May, 2015 @ 3:43pm
Thank you for this mod.
Hoses would be nice. I will give it a try and think about implementing them.
meraco 9 May, 2015 @ 8:43am
Thank you for this mod.. I made a scenario that included one tank filled.. when I went to connect a cannister I was scratching my head as to why it was not working.. then I realised.. ahhh I have to assemble it.. um.. wait a second.. cant assemble the tank if its on the ground.. and I cant lift it, if it has resources onboard making it too heavy to lift.. this mod was a game saver for me..

Nice work :) 10/10
RainmakerLTU 9 May, 2015 @ 7:34am
Well I`m not sure I would like that ability. That would make the process very simple, just plug the hose and go drink coffee... There`s nothing much to do yet, and without micromanagement would be a bit boring, I think.
DHLF  [author] 9 May, 2015 @ 7:18am
[quote] a supply hose that bolts on where the lil cannisters normaly go[/quote]
Those idea has already been posted in the forum and i like it, too.

To be honest.. all I did for the mod is to zero one variable..
Really, I dont know nothing about modding myself nor this strange scripting language they are using.
So I am the wrong one to ask about making such modification, sorry.
Sledge 9 May, 2015 @ 1:08am
What WOULD be a great idea, is a supply hose that bolts on where the lil cannisters normaly go, from drill or extractor directly into the storage tank - if you know what I mean. Takes all the micro management out of it... Surprised it's not been mentioned before... Likewise for the atmospheric extractor - one hose per storage tank - then that baby could just tick along all day.. being fed directly from the earth and rock extractor...
RainmakerLTU 8 May, 2015 @ 3:39pm
Well, they still not assembled there. And one also sits it truck :D Thanks.
DHLF  [author] 29 Apr, 2015 @ 7:48am
Strange,
last time i disabled all mods (due some unfriendly CTDs).
Later I tried the lunar proving ground and found the filled ressource tank weight(around 8000.. somethings) has been reduced so I was able to assemble it to the ground.
[RU]Nner 29 Apr, 2015 @ 4:07am
nope, lunar proving grounds still have not assembled pre-filled tanks wich coundnt be assebled ((
DHLF  [author] 23 Apr, 2015 @ 9:07am
The test-build scenario has been fixed(their weight has been reduced by the developers) so this mod seems to be obsolete ;)
