Seriously missing some gates, both open and closed, that are wide enough to cover a 1 and 1.5U road, I mean, who the hell builds a wall around their house and leaves the gate open? :steammocking:

@soldyne Thanks. I believe it could be eyecandy mod as do not have problems at those distances with other props. If it might be due to game update... as so many users dependent on your parking props be great if you can update those when you're free.

props tend to dissapear at certain levels of zoom. that is the game saying that props are not important enough to render at certain distances. it might be something the devs did on a recent patch or it might be your graphics settings. I have not updated my props for quite a while though, so I doubt its anything I did or did not do.

Love your work. Recently however all your parking assets turn to solid black at certain level in zoom out. Wondering if you ro anyone else has experienced this problem, and if so what might be the solution?

I would like to ask you if you could make those farm assets RICO compatibale, so that they are growable (as earlier mentioned) but better...

Great job! Is there a way you can make a few plop anywhere (no road needed) multi story buildings? Like 2 or 3 story brick buildings.. Im making a college campus and need more just asthetic buildings! Thanks for the farm stuff!!!

I believe that my comp is now up and running. needs more stability testing. but, that is an interesting request and I will look into it. but, I still need to figure out illumination, get LODs on all of my older props (some of my older fences still need LODs) and I have a few more things on my plate.

thank you all for the comments. I have been trying to get a new computer build to work recently so I haven't been able to work on anything new. also, I see that we have a day/night cycle now so I will endeavor to get some illumination maps for my lamp assets. I have to stabilize the new computer first though; it keeps freezing up on me.

yeah, sorry. If we had a way of doing it I would go back over all my props and re-do them. I was thinking about the parking spaces and it would not be too difficult to just make a terrain conforming sheet of 'asphalt' and then put parking space textures on that object. then the spaces and lot would conform, but, you would not be able to arrange them afterward. you would have to take what I gave you as is. so there are always trade-offs.

Hi soldyne! Love all your props, great work! It looks like you got slope conforming working for some of your newer props? Would you be able to update your parking space props to do this as well? They're really well made but unfortunately, it's almost impossible, even with terraforming mod, to get PERFECTLY flat terrain so the parking spaces will always be floating or clipping into the ground.

I guess I could do some fountains. right now I am still concentrating on Chinese assets. We don't have the ability to add animations yet, (I don't think), so the water won't flow. I do not know how to extract default data from the game, sorry.

if there are some fountain designs you are wanting, then I would suggest posting some images on the official forums either in my prop thread or just as a seperate general request. Maybe someone else will get to it before me.

Any possibility you make fountains? I don't have the pre order version and would like to have a bigger fountain model to use in my custom parks. But for some reason no one is making prop fountains. Any tip how to extract the pre order fountain model and convert it to a prop?

I just discovered your work today, brilliant stuff here, much to work with. For me the parking is a dream come true. I love the way the handicap can now look realistic, and for anyone reading this, yes, cars actually park in these lots. Thanks for sharing, thanks for making this game all the more fun.

if you are asking about the fences that conform to the terrain, those are not technically props, they are buildings that were imported using the Japanese Garden as the base template. I used similar .fbx models for both the building version and the prop version but they were imported differently into the game.

to my knowledge, no one has a way of making props slope conforming even though CO has some default props that do that, we just haven't figured out how.

So blender ehh? Hmm well thanks for the props to spruce up some asset models, been trying to force custom models to level terrain yet it looks like it never seems to matter as contours to the terrain and makes it out like a rolling model.. While pre-fab models will force the terrain to shift to fit without some wonky bump or change in elevation midway thru the asset.

Any tips or is just that needs to be a blender asset structure that prevents the walls or whatever from being able to shift location vertically?

The irrigation ditch set provides a minimal amount of water to your city, about 16 m3 per tile which is not that much. it does not affect pollution at all. it only needs to be hooked up because the game will cause an icon to float above each tile until you do. that is a side effect of having them appear in the water menu.

How does this stuff work in regards to pollution? As we are connecting it up to the water system what actual effects does it have to that system?

It can be done, but, I think whoever creates the golf club lot should put the wall on that asset instead of making a road with a wall on it. just seems to make more sense that way. and everyone has the ability to put these props on any new asset they choose using the tools in the game. Don't wait for me to do it ;)

Like a wall on one side so if you make a circle their will be a circular wall with zonable area inside. I wanted it for a Golf Clubs land but if it can't be done no problem.

not sure what you mean by "block off". the game does not recognize props as collision objects. If I created a lot surrounded by wall props, the Cims would still be able to on to the lot and "use" it as a park for example. If you want to create an intersection and use my props to line a road with a wall then go crazy, thats why I am releasing these props so others can make assets with them.
