This asset is not a functional water tower because there is no water connection node. :(

There isn't a water pipe node to connect to in game so I can't get any water out of it. What am I doing wrong?

The new release of C:S today adds this:

"Asset editor: Water Service buildings can now have proper pipe connections"

The reason why there is no connector currently is that there is currently a bug which makes it so that you have no water connector when creating assets. I've goggled around for a few hours without any headway since its, well, a bug in the game. As soon as it is fixed I'll make sure to update this water tower!
