Great building.

If you could comment when you've updated this, that would be great! Amazing!

Working on updating my assets this week, I've been out of the C:S loop a bit.
BloodyPenguin 1 Oct, 2015 @ 12:17pm
@8bitwonder Please, update your buildings with illumination maps and light props. Your buildings are among my favorites BTW :)

Update?

this building is amazing, nothing glamourous, simply an office building. Nice work! :corporate:

thanks for providing variety at the needed level, instead of another 90 storey L3 vanity project <3

Congrats on making a building that fits well in the base game and doesn't hog system resources like 90% of the other asset mods on the workshop.

Genius. :elinfluence:

The game sorely needs buildings like this!

Best description ever. :D

People will jump from the roof of this miserable building when they see the commute home I have planned for them. My thanks.

Love your description...

I love buildings like this and your description genuinely made me LOL, so thank you.

The people that work in this building hate their job and their boss. Whether it's Insurify (Home, Auto or Life), Initech (ahem) or Westly Financial, they live for w'ends.

Just thinking about the drones working in this soulless environment makes me hate it too.

+1 Downloaded.

I was so inspired by the Westly Building's demure facade, that it made me write not only one poem, but three.

So, here it is, the Westly Collection.

The Westly Building doesn't demand much,
only a block and some quiet street,
but it never truly gets such,
along the city heartbeat.

The Westly Building doesn't offer anything new,
only the day-to-day work,
and it certainly isn't for you,
mayor of this city bigger than New York.

The Westly Building is actually quite humble,
sitting among the traffic jams,
enjoying the soft rumble,
of backed-up buses and trams.

For some reason, this building reminds me to the 600 (used to be 666, but they changed it. lol) NW 79 ave, AT&T building in Miami. https://www.google.com/maps/@25.775549,-80.324393,3a,75y,259.99h,85.78t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sdjYqwXmbAlb-nhOkg1s2jA!2e0

Or the Dadeland Medical Building also in Miami.

We need more blend-in buildings, specially residential and commercial. Very nice work.
bigmoodenergy  [author] 7 Apr, 2015 @ 7:02pm
Thanks, I agree about blending. Not every building can be the crowning jewel of a city. Many of them are just run of the mill offices, shops, and apartments that fill up city blocks. I enjoy creating those buildings.
Rock Stone 7 Apr, 2015 @ 8:34am
Well done. This will blend in perfectly, which I think is a highly under-valued attribute for spawning buildings.
Krux 6 Apr, 2015 @ 10:07pm
[erfect we need more stuff like this, people either go too poor or too expensive, we need some middle ground stuff, and more high density commercial and offices to keep the cities diverse no matter what the level is.
bwiz11 6 Apr, 2015 @ 5:48pm
Nice. I like that you somehow keep your file sizes very small. Too many assets are 20mb... with hundreds of assets, that's a drag. Thanks!
Willelmus 6 Apr, 2015 @ 4:57pm
Nice description. I'll be following your work.
Gr8one 6 Apr, 2015 @ 4:48pm
great building and an even better description! thank you!
