Now all this being said, there were two objective issues to the map as well. The first issue was at the spot in 25:22 in my video, Zeds sometimes get stuck and just seem to stand there for a bit. Please fix that when possible. The second objective issue was a minor one, but an issue nonetheless. Before the Patriarch fight on the final wave, there is no music. Please fix that as well. My rating: 7.5. And as always, my video of the map: https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=734&v=-9QCm6Zl0JY

I love the map and you are a true artist, no doubt in my mind, but it makes me very sad that many of the things aren’t accessible. If possible, I would like to BEG YOU for an extended map. If file size was the real reason behind its limitations, I wouldn’t mind going out of my way downloading the extended version off another place. That’s how badly I wanted to explore the other places of this map!

A good example of a good way to do invisible walls or limiting space is a map called KF-DeathValley. Most of the invisible walls on that map were to places that had no actual appeal to them really, for example just a barren canyon with a lake and stuff like that. That kind of stuff told you for the most part what was further ahead, which was okay. In this map, you literally put something that I swear looks like you were intended to be able to jump on it and go further out, but then are greeted to an invisible wall when you try and get over it. Now I can understand Steam has a file limit, and that’s understandable, but regardless it still makes me as a human being sad that I can’t actually go all the way out to the Zeppelins and what not. I can’t even go up and see if anything is in that well!

At first, the map gives you an impression that it’s this huge town/city, but after playing it for a bit, I discovered the end of everything quite quickly. Now that’s okay in most circumstances, but the issue in this map was how that sizing was presented. In the description you mentioned a spaceport, however looking in the map it can’t be seen ANYWHERE which makes it almost pointless to mention. In fact, it kind of hurt the map. The same can be said about the zeppelins and such on the outskirts. While its awe inspiring and memorable, it disappoints me that despite all of that detail, most of it is inaccessible anyway. It’s like putting a child in a forest made of candy that is so good that words can’t describe it, but then saying that the child can only go to a specific area and explore only a small portion of the whole forest.

Yet another amazing map! The attention to detail (like with the pipes and what not) was quite well done. On top of that, the black dark art style that was so epic in Ashes 1 is just as awesome as it was before! I personally however would have loved to see what you could have done, using the art style, with fire. Lighting up that one brazier in the town for example. My imagination just would love to see what could be done with fire effects using the art style. But speaking of my imagination, that’s where this map’s unfortunate faults lie.

Well the main issue is..... My pc is pretty old :D It's a problem for me, that's why i didn't pay attention to it for now ! Will be ok to run KF2 in minimum specs but editing asks more for my cpu / gpu.

Well if it helps, the official KF2 wiki was made a while ago, and there are some SDK tutorials for it at the bottom of the main page. Don't know if you already know about this, just letting you know.

Hello Ltn. Well, i'm really interested into mapping unto KF2, but personnaly i'll need some time. I have already did some maps on UT3, which uses the same engine, but i don't know anything about KF2 editing specs for now. I guess they will release some tutorials and tools few weeks after the E A game in 2 days, and then after few months maximum, they will add the workshop. But you will still be able to find some maps on the official TRIPWIRE site, it's how i got some maps before the KF1 workshop.

With Killing Floor 2 coming out soon, it will be interesting to see what kind of maps you will make. Though the workshop won't be available at the start of EA, so how will you get your maps out to people?

Thx a lot !! Yes i promised more optimisation. I spent a lot of time, and asked advices to Ferenos, did a lot of tests to balance the graphics and the FrameRate. I have also created new smoke effects and the ashes are now in low resolution, but with fade. Everything is more smooth for better result !

Hello anti monitor. The chaos star is a medieval symbol that exists IRL since hundred of years. Hope you'll like the map !

Am I the only person who thought that this was a Warhammer 40,000 map? Look at the emblem then look up Warhammer 40k Chaos symbol. I can't be the only person who sees a similarity right?

Nice to see Version 2 on the "Ashes" maps. Fits in perfectly with Ashes, the style, theme, scenery, mood, models, textures and so on. Great Work! :Dosh:
