FINAL I FOUND A MOD THAT MAKE THE REBEL USE THE RPG FOR ONCE
also a lot of times the rebels only shoot when their target is ground level with them and rare shoot at strides and gunships

I have an issue where the weapon becomes 100% pointless. This is a minor bug where the rocket seems to spawn inside the NPC, causing it to explode and kill them. If you could fix this, it would be greatly appreciated. Bye, and thanks in advance.

Yes I know. This is buggy as hell. I just fixed it up from garrysmod.org and made it work on the latest version. I did not edit the behavior in any way.

ERROR: There is no waitime between shots and they are scripted to use it like a smg, rapid fire which means that they fire before they pull the rocket to their shoulders and kill themselves immediately. You would be better off without this mod, because REBELS DO FIRE RPGs!!!! They need to be a certain distance away and need some way to keep that distance or else their AI will make them get to close for the RPG to be fired. My advice: put 3 or 4 on a low rooftop.

is the correct line of code to add this to the override list.

Btw on the init file for the ai_rpg in the entities folder all the ValidEntity needs to be changed to IsValid. If not it will spew errors and fail to work.

@Owner try renaming the name of the weapon, it might be identical to the default broken RPG.

The normal Source RPG weapon does work, it's however performing lots of checks on the AI to see if they should fire or not. If the conditions are satisfied, they will begin firing their rpgs.

You Can't when you equip it they just watch the combine soldeirs and freeze and then aiming at them and never shot any missle so this is the problam... :(

Great addon, quite a needed for npc battles, but you just uploaded in raw format. Because I can't find it anywhere in the weapon list :(

I'm talking about before this mod the RPG was broken beyond use even if you spawned them on high places the weapon was would still be broken

@cursed Hawkins you need to place the npc's on high ground to work. I dont know why, but it just works that way.

and Ace the RPG's don't work 100% the NPC's can hold them but they don't fire them just run around and the running animation isn't even the animation they have in the games when they have the RPG it's just the pistol/unarmed animation so in other words the RPG was broken for the NPC's very rarely would i actually see them use it correctly but only ONCE after that back to being broke

to the person that asked about the CP's needing an AR2 fix they are cops and cops only have animations for the melee weapons,Pistol and SMG1 they aren't meant to be carrying anything bigger then those
