coconuts from this mod changed with other coconuts from other mods im using can you change the coconuts name to desert_coconut or something in files

@goodgoodgrace - I know, it is a huge problem. I have slowed down the regrowth timer 10 fold, so hopefully it helps. Problem is I am not sure why they are spreading so fast. My apple trees do not have this problem and they have the same mechanic.

I really liked this mod - unfortunately I had to stop using it because the trees got so out of control that I couldn't navigate through the desert any more!! I saw you're working on a fix, and I will defintely reinstall it if the spawn is reduced (or customisable). :)

@Ook - There is no control besides Klei's regrowth mechanic. I have changed it so I am interested to see how it goes once the update is live.

@star - What do you mean?

@MikeAnomaly - They have a %10 chance to drop an additional coconut. I may change it so they drop an extra one in summer though.

@Astro - I am using the default regrowth component from the game. I haven't researched it enough to know if I can do it that simply, but thanks for the suggestion. There is still the issue of them repopulating so quickly, which I would like to narrow down first before limiting the max amount. I feel like if they took longer (or the proper time) to spawn, there wouldn't need to be a limit.

@Astro - That is a possibility as well. Maybe try it with "Renewable Resource" option of that mod set to off. That being said, I use "Renewable World" and have not seen the issue, so it may not be. I'll take a trip to the desert in my world tonight since I haven't been in 20 -30 days and see if I have the same problem.

@Astro - It is odd that it happened with the birchnuts, as that is the same code used for the default trees. I haven't seen this problem on my server but it is only at around 80 days. I will look at this over the weekend if I have a chance.

@Farnsworth can you make some options for spawning? Maybe minimum distance to another palm or maximum amount of them? I think maximum amount is the best choice. I also had even more troubles with your "Big Birchnuts Together" mod. With "Big Birchnuts Together" mod I was even forced to wipe server (I was very sad about it), since I have not found any way to remove 1000s of gigantic trees.

@Astro - Thanks again. I have them set to spawn less than the evergreens, but it may be spawning more due to the smaller number of them in total. I will look into this.

This mod spamed out my desert with 1000s of palms. I was forced to turn it off. Could you add option with maximum amount of palms in world?

@star - Thanks for the advice, but not so easy since I would need to redo each animation in Spriter and trees have around 30 animations. Easy to do? Yes, but time consuming as well, which I just don't have enough of lately.

It's easy to fix the fire bug. Just make compact animations next time. Also it's better for memory use. Draw images without side spaces. Thanks.

@Coolfries - Should be the same as any other mod.

@oh1no - You can plant new trees with the coconuts. Full grown trees sometimes drop two.

@HOBOJESUS - You need to enable it on a new world.

@honur_sezer - Should be fixed now.

@Moccaflash - Yeah, I know about that one. It is a lot of effort to fix though. Maybe one day.

@No Danger - We use the crockpot to make ice cream and melonsicles so I thought it was a good fit. I think I just arbitrarily picked veggie. Falling coconuts would be nice. I want to at least add coconuts to the tree sprite in game but lately cannot compile changes to this mod. If I can fix that I will update it asap. Thanks for the feedback.
